How do you come up with new moves?

My husband thinks you're crazy. He has watched me work out with your new DVD's and he can't believe the moves you come up with. I think he envisions you sitting around a boiling cauldron conjuring new ways to cause us pain! But seriously how do you create such fantastic (and effective) exercises?

I think after teaching so many years to so many audiences (in gym and home viewers) you just naturally become inspired to create and or deviate from various moves, methods, and modalities to keep the workouts fresh and interesting. You will always have some of your staple moves to set a foundation, along with some familiarity to keep the participants engaged vs frustrated with every workout. But after that my goal is to make each workout feel somehow different as to continuously generate, stimulate, and improve mind and muscle participation.
