My gloves are in desperate need of a good washing. The manufacturer says you should spot clean only, but somehow I dont think that will help. How do you clean your weighted gloves????
Take out the weights. Then I just wash them by hand in the kitchen sink w/ cold water and a drop of dish soap. They come out clean and fresh, and it hasn't ruined them. I squeeze out as much water as I can, then let them air dry. Make sure they are all the way dry before you put the wts back in.
We used to do this with our bicycle helmets and bike gloves: put them into a trash bag with baking soda, shake it around, and let them sit for awhile. It worked great for freshening them up. It was surprisingly easy to get the baking soda out of them by shaking and tapping (or hitting the gloves on the ground, etc).
