Hi everyone,
I just started using the workout manager and can't seem to figure out how to get my calories burned calculated in WM.
Do I need to figure it out myself and manually add calories burned? I can't even begin to guess how many calories I have burned doing different workouts.
For example, I went to the gym and did an upper body workout with weights for 50 minutes. I estimated a MET value of 6 (based on a google chart - anyone have another MET referenece?). I have no clue the calories burned value.
Also, at the gym I did the step mill machine for 60 minutes. The step mill claims I burned 700 calories, but I doubt that is right since it never asked for my height, weight, age. I am assuming that value is based on an average male.
I will have the same problems guessing my calories burned with other activities (other gym equipment and aerobic DVDs I use).
Thanks.
