How are you breaking your sweat today?

I did "Decorate Max" on Saturday! I must have walked/stood for 8 hours putting up the Christmas tree, decorated the whole interior, and then helped DH with lights outside. Does this count? I was sure tired that night -- WHEW!

Just finished STS 3.5 month program (which actually took me about 4.5 months, life just got in the way sometimes) - still recovering from disk 36. Must confess I teared up a bit at the end - have exercise ADD and am very much rotationally challenged, usually I struggle to stick with any type of "formal" rotation but STS is the only one I've managed to stick with all the way through, and this is my second time round - hands down the best workout system I've EVER done. Only wish the workouts weren't soooo looongg, especially those Meso 3 workouts (which is the main reason I am SO looking forward to Xtrain - bring on more shorter workouts!). Anyone else get teary when they've finished a challenging rotation or am I the only sap? And why is it I get sick of other instructors so quickly but could happily do a Cathe workout every day?

Ouchie my arms hurt just typing this....

I had the same reaction when I finished STS. I felt a sense of accomplishment....aren't you proud? I was also relieved. ;-)

Congrats mjd!!! STS is an awesome program!

I rotating through STS workouts until XTrain arrives. I finished meso 2 chest/shoulders/triceps yesterday and have doms this morning.:D

I'm doing STS legs today.

I felt the same way as you when I finished STS (especially the highlighted part). These past few weeks I've been revisiting split weight work with 4DS, and decided to throw in some M1 W4 (UB workouts). I had DOMS for 3 days! I almost forgot how incredibly tough and humbling Meso 1 is.

STS was more than just a weight training program to me -- it was a journey. I hate to sound all soap box and sentimental, but it really change me, both mentally and physically. Not only did I obtain muscles that I never thought possible, but I gained tremendous confidence, happiness, inner strength, and peace :).

I'm REALLY excited for Xtrain! You can never have enough Cathe weight training workouts ;):D.

Congratulations on your STS completion.
Soon, in few weeks it is going to be me feeling the same.':)
Thanks goodness Cathe always come up with new refreshing goodies ;)

I love STS---i previously did some of the exercise but doing it in more structured rotation plan makes it more intense. It does require more focus...

Example: I did narrow squat on Triset LIS but doing it through STS just hit my muscle differently, in a good way of course. 2 pound (after doing ONE reps max ) heavier dumbbell made such difference for me ;)

Happy recovery Mjd from STS OUCHIES :D

Kind Regards,

Nathalie
