How are all the post partum girls going?

Hello all,
I'm interested to know how all you post partum girls are going with your return back to fitness.

Georgia is 14 weeks old and I have just returned to teaching Step and BodyPump. I'm still having trouble losing those last 10 pounds, though I did IMAX2 the other day and my pants definitely felt looser after that :)

Looking forward to catching up,
Liz :)

Hello!

Hi Liz! Olivia turns 16 weeks tomorrow and is just a chunk! I haven't weighed myself yet but I have been in my "normal" clothes for about a month YET, I still have a small c-section "pooch" that I'm trying to get rid of. Also, I still having some problems with diastasis recti...UUUGGHHH!!

I have been teaching BodyPUMP since about week 6 with many modifications. I'm now back to my pre-pregnancy weight and going strong. We'll be launching Pump 44 this week - I just LOVE the whole thing!

I've been teaching step and then biking and running. Olivia is only breastfed so I invested in some sports bras but I think I need to get one called "the smasher" that just holds my D-cups smashed to my chest when running!

I'm feeling great and trying to get into shape, take a personal training exam, complete Sheila's Healthy moms exam AND plan for baby #2!

This is my first and i just LOVE being a mom but I'll need to add personal training to my resume to continue to "stay home" with baby.

I can't wait to hear how everyone else is doing!!!

RE: Hello!

Jeni, I reckon BP 44 rocks, it's my favorite one for quite awhile. For a great sports bra, have you tried Mothers in Motion? Their Glory Sports bras are the greatest and just perfect for teaching Bodystep with (and doing IMAX2!)

Cheers,

Doing well!

Little Max is nearly 7 weeks old and I started working out again last week (Wedding Tape - strength section). I have no weight to lose, just want to tone my tummy/lower body. Upper body very toned from carrying baby and his paraphernalia around!

Will start using the treadmill from tomorrow onwards - I have a party to go to this Friday and want everyone to look at me and find it hard to believe I had a baby less than 8 weeks ago!

Here's hoping ! But return to fitness going well so far.:)
