Lynn, I believe it is the same thing as a sit'n'stand. Do you know what a sit'n'stand is? Ha! It is where you "hover" your rear over a chair, high step (without touching) and then stand up. Someone correct me if I am wrong. (Hover...meaning to "pause" or "hold".)

Hi Debbie! Actually you are VERY close . The sit n stands are a variation of a hover squat. A hover squat is when your down in the lower end of your squat position for an extended period of time before standing. When I do the sit n stand, I have you sit very briefly first and then stand in a low hover position for about 5 seconds before standing up. Take Care
