I finally watched this weeks episode of O.C. It's sad to watch Gretchen's fiance Jeff knowing that he has already passed on. He didn't look too good either.

I feel sorry for Lynn - that just keep heaping on her. Jeanna has no room to talk about the other one's children as her sons (especially the oldest) need a serious attitude adjustment.

The scenes for the N.Y. one are starting to look very intriguing!! As is Millionaire Matchmaker!
 
Jeana's sons treat her awful but I guess that's a result of them watching how her ex husband treated her all those years. So sad but she just takes that abuse from them!

Lynne just spoils her daughters! I couldn't believe she actually tells the maid not to vaccuum because her daughter is still sleeping! And she won't take away her car as punishment because it was her birthday present. I really don't like Lynne at all!

I agree - Jeff didn't look so great. He looked very thin and frail. So sad that he has passed away!

I'll definitely be watching the NY Housewives, too. Goodness, I'm getting way too into these shows, haha!
 
I loooooove these shows. My kids give me grief over watching it, which is ironic because they watch all those stupid MTV shows like Sweet 16 and MTV cribs which I can't stand.
I didn't know that Jeff had passed. Did he and Gretchen marry knowing his death was eminent? One of the last episodes she was getting grief because she didn't know if he was leaving her anything. I could however see Vicky's point of wanting Gretchen to take charge in those matters particularly because Vicky is in the business and is able to keep emotion out of it. But how would one tactfully approach their SO in very frail health and ask about finances? I don't think it could be done without coming of as a gold digger. Jeanna's son is an a$$hole. If my kids (who are far from saints) said that to me I would shove my stiletto so far up their rectum they would have to get it surgically removed and could forget about being anally retentive!!

I am excited about the OC show starting soon and I understand that taping has begun for a new Atlanta show. However one of the gals will not be returning. Can't remember her name but she was the quiet one, the one who held the failed auction in her home. The blonde one from that show is a train wreck! She really seems like a tranny, too much makeup, blouse buttons always undone, bragging about not wearing undies and the hair, oh those extensions are horrendous. But Nene, oh how she makes the show juicy!

I haven't been able to watch in awhile. Did the show ever mention Jeff's death. That is really sad. You are right about Vickie's response to insurance yet at the same time Lynn had a valid point as well. The last episode I watched was the party at Lynn's and her children were drinkin'.

I am guessing that tonight is the season finale for the O.C. Ladies, as the NYC Housewives series begins next Tuesday. Yes.... this show is my guilty pleasure too. :p LOL
 
I have googled tonights episode and it isn't saying anything about season finale. Does this mean two Housewives (O.C. and N.Y.) next week????

The girl not returning in the Atlanta version I believe is Shawndi Smith. I know her husband is gunning for a head coaching position on the NBA and he is a very private kind of guy so maybe that has played into it.

The N.Y. version looks really good . . . and now I am hooked on Millionaire Matchmaker - geeze
 
I didn't realize that NBA had guaranteed money vs NFL players that didn't. That was interesting. I am not sure about baseball players, though, since that comparison wasn't made.
 
I just started watching the Houswives (O.C) recently, it's sort of a guilty pleasure. I love to see how the other half lives. It is so sad about Gretchen's fiancee, I did not know who he was but my DH knew all about him. The only thing that bothers me is the behavior of the children, like Jeana's son when they went to see his game and he was so horrible to her!

LOL..... Matchmaker is something else, isn't it? How'd you like to have THAT job?! Rough, huh?

Next week is the finale for the O.C. ladies (10 pm EST) followed by the premiere of the NYC socialites!! :D I enjoy watching the NY series a LOT. I soooooo heart NY. Wish I could afford to live there.... I'd jump on that in a NY minute! ;)

I never did have an opportunity to see the Atlanta series, so perhaps I'll catch that one this time around.
 
I love how O.C. has their finale and ya roll right into N.Y!!!

Usually they boot someone off for next year or someone chooses to leave. My guess is that Lynn won't be back - she just doesn't mesh.
