Hi guys!
I saw your posts in the check-in thread about good ol' Beaver County, PA. I was born and raised there - moved to FL when I was 20 but my family all still lives there. My parents are in New Brighton but I have lots of relatives in Beaver Falls. I always get homesick for PA in the fall. I love the Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe's chili and cheese dogs and fries and Hanks homemade soft ice cream stand. Oh, and Jerry's Curb Service and Brewsters ice cream also. And Snyders potato chips. And Iron City Beer. All that healthy stuff. And HB, I have eaten at Pappan's several times, too.
Wendyloo, does your BF say "yins"? It's the Beaver Co./ Pittsburgh version of y'all. Those of us who hale from that area definitely have unique accents. Even after all these years of living in FL people are always asking me where I'm from because of my accent.
