HONEYBUNCH: BIG FEET...

Hi Honeybunch,

I checked out my shoe size conversion chart, and you do have big feet, like me, we are the same size - care to join the Big Foot club ? I tend to have to buy men's size 8UK (8 1/2 US)sneakers/trainers because womens just aren't wide enough ? But for some unknown reason, mens sports shoes turn up at the toes ?

I checked out Ryka's web page and read up on their shoe design, and they stated that they design with a wider fitting shoe, so I am beginning to live in hope again. I have seen one of their shoes on a UK trainer/sneaker site, and it went up to a size 8. Keep your fingers and toes crossed for me !

What sports make do you go for ?

Oh puh-leeze, you amateurs!! I wear a women's size 11, men's 9 1/2. AND, I wear a wide-width shoe (probably because of my flat feet). So I have quite beautiful feet, since they're huge and flat and boat-like!

Sorry to butt in ... my big feet are a favorite rant of mine.

Big feet really don't bother me - I figure if I have big feet and and big other stuff (not boobs) that reflect a larger frame, that I can WEIGH more and get away with it. I never coveted a small frame, not ever! I can't imagine having to maintain 90-100 lbs. I can't remember weighing 90-100 lbs except when I was anorexic in my early teens.

I wear a men's 9, haven't bought girley-shoes in so long I don't know what size they would be, but I used to wonder where drag queens got their shoes so I could find shoes that fit me!!

Anyway, I find that ASICS fit my feet really well for running and other fitness shoes.
