Honey - Lime Grilled Chicken

1/2 cup honey
1/3 cup soy sauce (I use low sodium)
1/4 cup lime juice
4 boneless skinless chicken breast - 4 oz. each (I sometimes use tenderlions)

Mix first three ingredients in a resealable plastic bag and add chicken.

Seal and turn to coat, refrigerate for a minimum of 45 minutes but taste best refrigerated overnight.

Drain and discard marinade and grill 6 - 7 minutes per side until juices run clear. (I'm sure you could use your George Foreman).

This chicken taste identical to the grilled chicken tenderloins from Cracker Barrel.

YUM!

My husband and son love these. They are eating healthy and don't have a clue!

Hi AbPursuit,

I'm trying your lime chicken tonight, as a matter of fact they're marinating now. Question: What do you normally prepare with it?

Something to Go with Honey/Lime Chicken

I'm sorry...I just saw your reply. I usually have broccoli or green beans and wild rice. For sure by now you have already eaten this.

What did you think? Was it your thing?

Honey-Lime Grilled Chicken

I made the honey-lime grilled chicken for my family last night and it was superb...sweet, moist, delicious taste!!! Along with the chicken I make a rice recipe and roasted vegetables from Tosca's Clean Eating Book. Talk about good clean eating!!! All of it was fabulous.

Thanks for the chicken recipe...I'll be making it again soon!!
