Hometrippers: Saturday night DJ night and pizza party

What kind of pizza do you want? Everybody gets their own personal pizza, so you can have whatever you want.

(I'll be back later!).

I've been waiting for this thread!! I want a Margherita pizza with fresh milk mozzarella. 10 inch size and I'm eating the whole thing myself!! (this is my virtual pizza because this just won't fit into fitday.com today)

I don't eat pizza. Too many carbs. Is there really no wine or beer at this party? Can we change the rules and have our own kind of party? I just poured myself a glass of New Zealand sauvignon blanc. }( If I drink enough I won't care about the carbs. Then I'll order a Mexican chipolte pizza :9 Heavy on the chili peppers. :9

Wow..Nancy, I am with you on the chipotle pizza!!! I love those peppers...mine would be Vegan of course. Homemade crust, homemade sauce, tons of veggies, chipotles and of course Vegan Rella Cheese..for the wine I only really like Guwerztraminer myself...:)...Carole

Definitely Bunbun... see if you can find some of that Godiva chocolate ice cream with dark chocolate hearts that Cathy brought yesterday to the potluck.

I had a lean cuisine margherita pizza. Well, you didn't expect me to cook after a day like today, did you? The salsa music is playin' and my hips are shakin'. Nancy, pass the wine.

Nancy- Did you do Power Hour today?

You can drink whatever you want at "our" party!

I'm having (virtually: I'm really having a protein smoothie) a pizza like one I got at my hotel in Québec: a tortilla shell as crust (I'll make mine whole wheat), a few slices of thick-sliced tofu (I was sceptical, even though I do love tofu, but it actually tasted good: was very fresh), spinach, lots of veggies (including carrots, unexpected but good), a very tasty tomato sauce, and no cheese. The "crust" was very thin and crisp, and it was just what I needed after a day full of travel. (I also got a beer, but only drank half, because I usually don't drink, and the last time I did was maybe two years ago! I just felt in the mood. They were out of Kronenbourg, so I got Heineken).

Hmm...I wonder how a "pizza smoothie" would taste? Put all the ingredients (except crust) in a blender and mix. Or maybe not.

I'm too pooped to dance after my three (!) workouts today, so I'm just hanging out on a lounge chair.

Jordan, I did NOT. I went and got a make-over and then shopped for cruisewear. By the time I was done, I had spent a fortune and it was time to go out for dinner. So I didn't have time today. I'll double up tomorrow, though.

Dinner was outdoors at a neighborhood cafe: a tri-color salad, a wonderful glass of sauvignon blanc, and spinach linguine with salmon chunks in a fra d'iavlo sauce. Terrific. I also picked up some Haagen Daazs non-fat frozen yogurt at the Haagen Daaz store for later.

Jordan, no one figured out the chicken dance question. It must be MIS because I never do that one. No?

Oh Nancy, I think I like your day better than my day. It sounded wonderful.

You probably know that the music in Power Hour was origninally written for the workout. It dosen't really have titles. Why am I telling you this....... because if you would have done it today, you would have heard the chicken song during your bicep work. Just listen for the SQAUWK and giggle.

This was talked about back when.... so I thought it would be an easy ice breaker question.

Well I hope everyone has had a good time today, I did.

Well if I had one it would be a low carb crust and loads of peppers, mushrooms and olives, add some onions and garlic. If it has crust I will just suck down the topping. LOL. Well Jordan so it is Power Hour? I guess I just remember Cathe making a statment like her legs were shaking like a chicken?? Power Hour is a workout I do not do often. I usually end up with low back pain and shoulder pain after doing this. I don't know why, so I just throw it in there occaisionaly.

Plain cheese pizza for me (with a little extra cheese perhaps?), along with a glass of buttery chardonay.

Really, Jordan? I'll have to listen for it. I'll be doing PH all week long, so I'm sure I'll hear it.

Shopping for this vacation is a huge job because I don't really own any sport clothes except the stuff I wear to the gym. Yesterday I got all the basic outfits (mostly warm-up suits). Today, I still have to buy socks, shoes, outerwear, a purse, etc. It's less fun than it sounds.

I thought you meant the actual "Chicken Dance" song, and I couldn't think of any workout that had that in. Yes, that song in PH does sound like a chicken: "Bak bak BAA bak bak ba ba ba." (I wonder what the guy is actually saying/singing?)
