Holy cow. 5am Fiesta from Aug rotation

I know some of you don't like straight calisthetics but this workout knocked my socks off!!! When you read it, it doesn't sound like it would take you so long but it took me almost 2 hrs (w/ some much needed rest breaks in there). If you guys want a change & a challenge from the DVDs I highly suggest this....and congrats to those who have done it already!

Done:
200 toe touches
200 squat thrusts
10 min jog in place
200 jumping jacks
200 alternating front lunges
200 low pulsing hover squats
10 min jump rope
100 pushups
800 crunches

I did half the amount on each exercise & repeated as directed :eek:

p.s. I do believe Cathe is trying to kill us sometimes }(

Do you ever wonder if Cathe is sitting there, thinking these things up and saying to herself "I wonder what I can make them do THIS month? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHHA".?:p
 
oops edited to say I meant 4 min low pulse hover squats -- can you imagine 200 of those babies??? EEEEEK!

I began the Aug. rotation a week late so I have yet to do the 3 mile run, MM, PLB ball day - but the Fiesta, imho, was the toughest workout of this rotation so far. I liked it, but my performance of such was slightly pathetic. I cannot do a situp to save my life! Oh well, new challenges!
 
I'm going to start the August rotation on Monday. Just did BC 2X's just to make sure I could. (I did, but wow! Seriously though - the hardest part of the workout getting up after sitting on the floor for the oblique ab work of segment 8, and starting the whole daggone thing over again!)...

This one looks killer. I'm stoked for this, though. Need to get back on track.

And yes, Shelley, I'm quite sure Cathe does do just that... LOL You've even seen the laugh if you've done the bicep work of ME...
 
I was hoping I wasn't the only one. I did 100 sit-ups, but then had to go to crunches for the remainder. I can't believe soneone can actually do 400 sit-ups!:eek:

Wow, I subbed other workouts for the homemade workouts b/c I just didn't think I would be motivated to jog in place for 10 min., etc. I thought about doing it to music but the beat of the music would change. Anyhoo...I will keep this in mind for vacation workouts away from home.

Jillybean...I started the Aug. rotation on time but I have a week left b/c I had to take extra rest days due to a hectic, beginning of the school year schedule. I just did Sharon Mann Cardio(instead of 3 mile run)/MM/PLB Stability ball last night. I plan on resting on Sunday so I think I may finish the rotation on Thursday if I don't have to take anymore unplanned rest days!
