Hi,

I have hit a plateau. I am in my weight range. I weight 130 and 5'5'. But still want to lose about 5pds and gain muscle. I have been exercising for 3 years. I am new to Cathe. I have Basic Step and Body Fusion and High Step Training. I have only done Basic Step and all the add ons. I just Love Cathe:) I was wondering if I could get some advice on what other DVDs to get now. To get me thru this plateau. Which I have been at since Oct. In Sept I did P90 and lose 4 pounds in the first thirty days then nothing. After I finished P90 I did seven weeks of slim Series. Since then I have been doing a program called Project you by Kathy Smith. Throwing in some Firms and now Cathe. Right now I feel Like my middle section is losing defination and my lower stomach is pudging more than it use too. I have lots of Cathes on my wish list:) But what would be best to get thru this? Thanks for any advice.

More than specific workouts - I was able to break my plateau (also at 130, but 5'4" since October and frustrated beyond belief) by following the David Kirsch ultimate NY body plan. His book is available anywhere and if you follow it to the letter, you WILL break it.

I would start by adding in Body Fusion at least one day a week and then add in High Step Training. Also maybe buying a weight training dvd exclusively. Like PS, SS,Pyramids or PP are good as well. PS is more strength training and one I still love and bought quite a few years ago. It is tough though. Or for something really different go for S&H you can adjust weights easily here.

I'm with Diane Sue... get some crosstraining workouts, like Cathe's high step training workouts and Bootcamp to shock your system. Talking of Bootcamp, I'd recommend the Intensity series. This will blow you away.:) It'd also help to take a close look at your diet.

Thanks for all the help. I was thinking about getting Step Blast & Step Jump Pump, IMAX 2 & Cardio & Weights and Pyramid Upper & Lower. I don't have any workouts that are just lifting weights. How does that sound?
