HIS is tricky

Man that combo #3 in HIS is a little devil! I could not get that hitch kick on the front of the step and then that step up kick kick and some kind of a pivot turn. I was ALL over the place on that one. I need to find the slow motion button on my remote to review it. LOVED the workout though!

I could have written the same post, Kim. After surfing the forums, I don't think we are alone. Long live slo-mo! :)

I couldn't get that hitch kick thing either, although some portions of that combo seemed easier strung together than separate. I'll get it w/ time...

Oh pleeze...I just tried it this AM and made a fool of myself. Its hard, thank goodness it is only 30 minutes long!
I will keep trying, although I am "getting" the low impact step workout much better at this point.

The first time I did it last week, during that segment, I was actually standing there in front of my step, mouth agape, scratching my head. My DD came downstairs, watched for a minute, then her mouth fell open and she started scratching her head too. With much rewinding, I think I eventually got it.

It IS tricky! I workout in the basement/laundry room so, after putting a load in the washer last night, I spent some time with the combo using no risers, just the board. Every time I've tried it my shuffle/pivot was on the wrong side of the board but after last night and another casual go after my run this morning I'm feeling pretty comfortable with it. Now if I could just get the 'bow and arrow on the board' in combo 2x( We'll get there!:)

I absolutely LOVE the 'reverse hop turn right into a ricochet!!' So much fun! How does Cathe come up with the stuff!? Pure genius!!

Take Care
Laurie:)

Some remotes don't have a slow-motion button (mine doesn't), but you can press 'pause,' followed by 'fast forward' to get the same effect (you may have to press 'fast forward' several times to get the speed you want).

Keep at it...the first bunch of tries I too was scratching my head staring at the TV. I rewound numerous times, and finally finally I got it a few days ago! Very proud of myself. You'll get it eventually--if I can do it, anyone can!:7
