Hiking GPS units

Does anyone have a hiking GPS unit that they can recommend? I'd like to get one for DH. I don't need a lot of bells and whistles--just something accurate, reliable and easy to use (especially easy to use).

I bet Garmin makes some good ones. I use them on my bikes & sometimes take them trail running.

Thanks for your reply. Garmin does have several models. Reviews are mixed. Unlike their other excellent products (I love my Forerunner), people report that Garmin's hiking GPS units are hard to use and almost worthless without spending a ton of money on additional maps. I'm really torn.
