High Step leg press

i am a little confused. do you do a lunge when doing the leg press? i did not feel anything afterwards so maybe i am doing something wrong.
also, for anyone who has trouble with balance, i have started using a wall.
 
Not Cathe but I had the same problem at first. Then I asked on this forum and someone told me to make sure that I am putting my weight on the heel of the foot that is on top of the step. You will not be doing a lunge because the foot that steps on and off the high step is merely tapping the step. Also, squeeze your rear end and your hamstring as you lift your body up onto the step. This made a HUGE difference for me. I hope this helps and is not too confusing. Good luck
