Hi/Lo suggestions revisited

Hi everyone! The only cardio workouts I own are Cathe. I LOVE THEM - but am looking for some non-step cardio suggestions. I prefer DVDs and intensity. Powerstrike has been mentioned before, as have Christi Taylor and Mindy. Any others?

I've only previewed the Powerstrike tapes, but they look awesome. I did Aaron Lankford's PowerKicks yesterday and although during the workout I didnt feel it was super intense, my backside is feeling it today! Karen Voight's Energy Sprint isnt bad. I cant do Christi's mostly b/c I think her choreography is too complex and way too dancey for me, although I wish I liked her b/c her music and attitude are fun! I have a few of Mindy's strength tapes, but not much in the way of her cardio. I heard her moves are athletic and I personally think she's entertaining. Some of her commentary during her tapes just make me chuckle. I have Charlene Prickett's Rev Up the Sequel which is hi/lo. The choreography is deceptively simple, the outfits are way outdated and she's a bit chatty, but I think the workout is good on days you want an intense workout but dont want to think too much. I'd also look into CIA's 9807 workout. Hope this helps.

...forgot to add Karen Voight's Power Packed Workout (I think Energy Sprint is actually step), and Mindy's Slammin Sports Cardio. The forum just recommended it to me and the reviews on videofitness sounded great so I just ordered it last night.

I agree with Stacy on Charlene Prickett's "Rev It Up-The Sequel", I've only had it 2 weeks, I've done it twice, and I'm having to modify some segments just to get to the end! It is high intensity, and because I'm panting like a dog to get through it, I barely hear her conversation! The choreography is very basic, it's just she NEVER brings it down for like 45 straight minutes! Your knees are either going up and down or you're jacking or jumping or something, and how anybody can even hear her conversation is beyond me cause all I can hear is my heartbeat in my ears and my mind saying, "for the love of God how many more minutes is this thing?" But I love it, I feel so worked out after its over! :) I'm sure I'll enjoy it more once I lose another 25-30 lbs, but for now, it ain't easy bouncing my load around for 45 continuous minutes!
So~it is a great hi/lo workout!
And if you're looking for great kickboxing: Powerstrike hands down! They are awesome workouts!
