Hi/lo similar to SJ&P & Curcuit Max suggestions.

I could step everday, from what I read about overuse and injuring joints etc. I'd like to mix things up a bit. Can anyone recommend good hi/lo workouts similar to Cathe's SJ&P & CirMax. I read good reveiws on Mindy Mylrea(?). (If Cathe had more hi/lo dvds I would absolutely buy them)

Maximum Intensity Cardio has about 25 minutes of great hi/lo, but it is then followed by 30 minutes of step. I enjoy MIC hi/lo more than SJP. It is more intense in my opinion. In fact, MIC has become one of my favorite Cathe workouts!

I have never done the hi/lo sction of MIC only the step part, I could never quit get into it - I'll have to it another try. Thanks for your response.:)

There are a couple of good hi/lo segments in CTX, which was produced in one big blob along with Circuit Max and Cardio Kicks in 2000.

CTX Power Circuit has a hi/lo warm-up and lo/hi cardio segment, AND 10-10-10 has an excellent hi/lo segment that has about 5 minutes of bouncy choreography followed by short, INTENSE blasts of high-knee runs, plyo heel digs, high-leg kicks and vertical jumps. That'll get your blood bubbling.

And, for some other high-intensity floor cardio that is a bit outside the box from traditional hi/lo, consider the Boot Camp cardio only premix and the Kick Max blast challenge. No step required, just a lotta motivation, muscle, oxygen and sweat.

Linda, MIC starts out a little slow because she's trying to thoroughly warm us up but when she gets going, she get's GOING! I love MIC & sometimes will do the hi/lo back to back.

Try it again & see.
