Re: your question...I would do two full body workouts per week (ie: Muscle MAx Muscle Endurance, etc) or total body split workouts (ie: Pure strength Series, Four Day split, gym style (your favorite ;)) etc)

I hope you have a blast in Daytona! It looks like a fun location for a Road Trip! Thank you again for the Travel Fit update. After reading your description and seeing the pictures, I am just as excited about this one as Step Moves! I love the upper and lower combinations! This looks like a fun workout! I have been wanting a DVD like this since the 2007 Road Trip class you taught with a band and stability ball.

You shared with me during the Road Trip that you want me to do some weight workouts. I enjoyed Meso 1, but I am not ready for the rest of STS. How many weight workouts a week (minimum) would you recommend if my goal is weight loss?

Hi Cathe!

I started STS last week and am through Disc 4. I read so much about it from others but I was completely unaware of how much I would like the workouts so far. The time flies by!!! I had gotten into a slump with PF flaring again and couldn't quite figure out what to do to motivate me again.

I typically love cardio more than weights, but this program so far really has me charged up so far!

For some reason my legs are pretty strong and my 60% for some of the leg work is over 60 pounds. For deadlifts, I am using a 64 pound barbell which is really heavy on my forearms but it is the correct weight for my legs and back. Is it okay to use lifting hooks? I've never used them so I don't know if they would hinder me.
 
Hey Kath! I went back for highlightes. Not as bright as summer highlightes but more carmelly (is that a word, lol).

But I have seen your pic's and if I had your skin tone, I would take on that hair color in no time flat. The color (and cut) you now have is PERFECT! Enjoy it!


Hey Cathe, one more quick and silly question that Liann's gorgeous avatar made me think about. :) What'd you decide about your fall hair color? Did you go back and get a bit more caramel or did you stick with the autumn brunette? :D

Hi Debbie! So glad you are feeling the love for weight training, and most especially STS. Once I got hooked on weight training and the benefits of it, I never looked back. It is ALWAYS and equal part of my fitness program.

Yes, use lifting hooks. These type of situations are exactly why they are made and will take so much stress off your forearms. Keep shocking it!

I'm currently enjoying your older workouts that you've been selling for 30% off. Shame on you for having such great deals and making me spend money! Thats great marketing! I think I've gotten a DVD each week! Ha! Yesterday I ordered the HSTA just for myself because it was my B-Day! Now I think my Cathe collection is almost complete.

Looking forward to Shock Cardio! I'm sure it will complete my STS mission that I will start after the holiday season. I manage a retail store and the holiday season proves very difficult to follow a rotation.

Hi, Cathe! Looks like I missed ya! I was bizzy doing 4DS, kickbox with legs and core! LOL! Anyhow, I love your workouts. You're the best! I'm starting STS first Monday of November. I got my barbells, Tower on the way. Just gotta figure out my 1 rep max, then I will be all set. I am looking forward to see what you have planned for an October rotation...
