Hi everyone! It's been quite a long time since I've been on my favorite forum. How is everyone enjoying their summer so far. Now for catching up. On July 26th my daughter Jocelyn gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby boy delivered by c-section. His name is Benjamin Leonardo Ayende, weighed in at 7 pounds, 7 ounces and is healthy and just perfect. My daughter is at home healing and enjoying her new addition to her growing family. BJ (that's what we're calling him) has me totally smitten with him and I just can't get enough! Sound familiar DebbieH?? He makes me a "young" grandmother of 6 - WOW!! My knee is finally getting back somewhat to where it was before all the problems began last year and I'm getting back to working out - slowly - and modifying as needed. The humidity in NYC is not helping - ha! I even played beach volleyball a few weeks ago and felt great. I'm still job-hunting and there are a few good leads with 2 and 3 callbacks for further reviews. I'm also getting closer to becoming a homeowner again, just waiting for a co-op board interview and we should close sometime in late August or early September. I've already alerted the Cathe in the City crew for a get-together once I'm all settled in. I've been reading quite a bit today on our forum and was happy to read about Cathe receiving all our birthday wishes, and of course very sad to read about her dear pet. I've missed you guys - and will catch up with all of you - promise!!
