Just wanted to pop in & say Hi real quick. I have been so busy lately I haven't had much time to post. I have TRIED to keep up on all your posts though. Sounds like you VHSers are really enjoying those new tapes. Only about 3 weeks to go and us DVDers will be Happy Campers too! We are headed to N. Jersey tomorrow afternoon. Unfortunately, its' too far from Cathe's studio. http://www.contrabandent.com/pez/otn/sad/bncry.gif We are going with Julie, Scott & Kennedy to see Kennedy's other Grandparents who haven't had the chance to meet her yet. Its always nice to read your posts!

I too have been very busy and not posting. Havent posted on the weekly checkins for a while. With summer here we've been camping ALOT. Been working part time. Running 3 teenage boys all over. Since this wasn't enough...We added another Black Labrador. Dakota has a baby brother. His name is "Rudy". He is so CUTE! He looks like a puppy angel. I volunteered for puppy duty at night. You really do forget how much energy it takes to get up a couple times a night.

The Pre Sale Cathe tapes are scheduled to be here tommorrow!!!

When "The Next Generation" was on TV. We recorded every one and edited out the commercials!!!

Thank for asking about "Rudy". At 11 weeks he can come and sit, watch, sit, down, around (from a front postion to a heel), heel on a leash. I work out with Cathe, but my hobby is traing Labradors. I have since 6th grade. He loves hot dogs and cheese!!! Plays really well with our 3 cats. (They are very docile and friendly). His big brother Dakota taught him to swim. He sleeps on our pillow between us. His official name is...Thistledown's Royal Rumble! What more can one ask for.

You've bred and still have Great Danes. They are beautiful, sensitive, and gentle. How can one NOT look into the eyes of a Dane and not fall in love!!!

Did'nt post for a few week. At 43 years young my estrogen played havoc with me. Well it quit. Really drained me!!! Plus I picked up a parasite from either hiking/camping or letting labs kiss me!

Anyway...dear Ruth...It is always pleasant to see you on this site!!

That is really great that you are going up there to share the joy of Kennedy with the other Grandparents. Kennedy is a lucky gal to have such a wonderful family.

Hello Ladies

I second all of the above...although I don't know you all yet...I have just had this very good feeling about all of your posts and the knowledge and encouragement you all share.

I just received my first tape...MIS...and am anxious to get started with it. Just some really positive things going on right now after a two year MAJOR stress challenge...

Getting back in shape is first priority and I feel better already...dropped ten pounds and my muscle are aching ( a good thing )...

Closing on a house in the little town where I work...which will be nice before the snow flies and I don't have to make the five mile climb up the mountain on ice...although I will miss the views...but still have the Delaware River and the country is only two blocks away (think Mayberry RFD)!

And, I am looking forward to getting a puppy also. Have always had animals, horses, dogs, cats...and after leaving Michigan and a thirty year marriage...I have missed them a lot. I am thinking of a Springer...I have had labs and English setters too...all equally wonderful...so once settled I will be a MOM again.

And last, even though I am an accountant by day to pay the bills...I am an artist by nature...and have met a wonderful woman through a theatre friend who has bought one of the big old cheap houses in our little town, relocated from NYC. She and her husband have wanted to start and encourage other artists to move to the area,,,cheap housing, beautiful country...she is a sculptor and he is a painter, both in their mid-50's (such a great age!)...and we connected immediately...and I feel will be great friends.

So, all good things come to SHE who waits!!!

Hi Laura...it is nice to find another trekkie...my daughter and myself, along with several cyberfriends are incorrigible!

And the above quote...when things have gotten a little beyond me...always makes me laugh!!! It is a good day to die!!!...or...devil may care...let's live our lives to the fullest...damn the torpedoes...full speed ahead...first star on the right and straight on til morning!!!

Hi Laura,
You know there used to be an answer for Live Long & Prosper, but they didn't use it much after ST Classic. I simply can't remember it!
I taped all of Next Generation too, I have a huge box full of ST tapes! Now I'm taping Voyager. Can't wait to see the new one, "Enterprise".
My favourite expression, by the way, is "Make it so!"
It sounds like Rudy is coming along nicely. He's obviously quite intelligent & willing to please. Since you train dogs, perhaps you could give me a tip regarding dog-aggresive dogs?
Hope your illness is resolved & you are feeling much better.
Kathleen, you are going to LOVE MIS. It is still my favourite!

Hi Ruth

I watched the MIS tape yesterday morning while on my recumbent bike...just thought I wanted to study it. It does look great...I am probably a weight-lifter at heart...the aerobic stuff was never appealing to me...I have a "slow" nature...so the warm up step routine will be "interesting"...hope I don't demolish something in the room. I will probably just make it a lot simpler than Cathe does. I definitely like the rest of the tape, though. I am going shopping today and see if I can find a smaller bar and a step. I have a weight bench that I can use for some of the exercises but the step I see works well for everything and takes up a lot less room....kicking myself for spending all that money on the weight bench, now! So...I am off!!!

Made My Day!!!

THANK YOU all soooo much for the kind, kind words. You are all THE BEST! I haven't found another place on the net that draws as nice a crowd! We had a wonderful time in Cape May. The trip took us 11 hours to get home and the baby did wonderful. She is so good and VERY content. Thank goodness she loves her car seat because all she got to look at on the way home was the back window! :-( I have to share something very special with you all but also very disappointing at the same time. On our way home, my hubby pulled off an exit marked Glassboro and stopped at a gas station (believe it or not!!!) and asked the guy if he could tell us where Double Tree Shopping Center was! The gentleman was foreign and I didn't think he really understood him well but pointed in a direction and said turn left! We did it, pulled into the shopping center and guess what was staring at me straight ahead??? HUGE posters of Cathe on the windows! I was in a daze and of course the VERY 1st. thing that came to my mind was~I look like I just got out of bed in my wrinkled traveling clothes!! Ha! I said, "I need to change!" My hubby said, "Go in and say Hi!!" Soooo, Julie and I went in and much to our disappointment found out Cathe was on vacation! http://www.contrabandent.com/pez/otn/sad/bncry.gif I did get to meet Chris (Hi Chris! It was great to meet you FINALLY!!!) and got to look around Cathe's place. How fun it was! I got back into the car and said, THANKS SOOOO MUCH to my hubby and he said, I know it's special to you! (I think I'll KEEP him another 29 years!;-)) So, my trip to N. Jersey ended with a happy ending. Hopefully, next time, I WILL get to meet Cathe! Thanks again all of you for your warm words to me. They mean so much!

Well, if you get to go on a road trip, you'll know how to get there! I'm real tempted to get a cheap air fare on the internet and just up and go there some day!!! There's lots to see in Philadelphia, too. If I win the bake off, I can go there and spend lots of time. I have a recipe pretty well perfected, if you're interested in being a guinea pig!!!

Glad the baby is a good car rider!

HB...since I am new to this forum...you must tell me what your bakeoff is all about. You can e-mail if you like. My daughter is a wonderful cook...she watches the cooking channel like it is MTV...and is also the reason I need to exercise more often!!!

I'm so glad you all had a wonderful time on your vacation. I never doubted for a minute that little Kennedy would love it too. Gosh, she must be getting so big. Any chance of a picture update???
What a sweet, sweet thing for your husband to do. I would have been scared to death! I sure wish you could have met Cathe, I'm sure she would have enjoyed it very much too. Well, maybe next time?
