Hi all- did it!

Good morning everyone-

So I actually got up today at 4:30 to work out. I was a little groggy and it took a few minutes to get going but I masde it through 35 min. of HSC. Yeah!! I think if I can just get into the routine of doing this, I'll be able to keep it up. Any other early wo people? Do you get used to less sleep? Is it OK to not get that much sleep (only about 6 hours) for the reason of working out? Any opinions?

Anyway, have a great day all!!

Good for you! Early AM workouts are my preference, too, however, lately my "life" doesn't seem to be lending itself to them. You will get used to AMs. Length of sleep required is unique to an individual. Personally, I feel "sharper" on 6 - 7 hours of sleep as opposed to 8 hours. I usually feel a "slump" in the afternoon but I find that true no matter how many hours of sleep I've gotten the night before! Good luck with your early morning routines. It definitely "sets me up" for the day...I've accomplished so much before most people have even heard the first alarm! Let us know how it's coming along....

Good job! Yes, I also workout in the am. I have found that if I eat small mini-meals throughout the day at scheduled intervals of 2-3 hours that I dont hit that slump in the afternoon.

Jean-GREAT job! As somebody else said, everybody requires a different amount of sleep. For me, the magic number is 5. If I sleep much more or much less than 5 hours of sleep, I am extremely tired in the morning. I workout at 4:30am. You willg et used to getting up early. Find what amount of sleep works for you!

GREAT JOB!
