I have never experienced anything in my driving life that could compare to the hailstorm I just drove through this afternoon!!! I actually thought someone was throwing golf balls at my car at first, the scene looked like something out of a disaster flick!!!
A friend of mine said the same thing this past week (ice cubes, not golf balls though). Everyone on the freeway had to pull over. He said in all his life in MI he's never seen anything like that. Seems like the weather really is getting worse these days.
