Hey RT Coordinators - did I miss it?

Hi Lorrie,
Debbie, Kathy, and I had a GREAT time. We spent the majority of the time gabbing away both indoors and outdoors. We went for nice long walks on the beach (Debbie went for some nice jogs on the beach) every day. In fact, we did some walking lunges! }(
Each morning, the Cathe mugs were filled to the brim with coffee. It was too cute! Debbie was smart and marked the bottom of her mug with some finger nail polish.
One evening, we did sit around the condo and inhaled some yummy popcorn. It was a wonderful treat spending some quality time with D&K. I want to say that they are wonderful, warm, and loving women.
We did not chat about future road trips, though. We have, however, captured lessons learned from the first trip which we will incorporate in planning for a future one.
I will have to defer to Debbie and Kathy to post pictures. Sorry, but I don't have access to a public web site to share these pics.
Anyway, we had a blast. I can't wait to get together with them again for our next get together.

Cathe RT Coordinators' Beach Weekend Pix
Ohmigosh, we had such a great time, everyone!
Lorrayne has given you a great summary of our way-too-quick trip to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where we stayed at my mom's condo for the long weekend (Wednesday through Sunday). We had terrific weather most of the time (Saturday was cloudy and then rainy in the afternoon, but by then we couldn't have cared less), and we just had a great combination of everything you'd want in a girlfriends' getaway trip with your dearest pals.
I've put some pictures up on PictureTrail so you can all get a sneak peek into what it was like. Since our trip was inspired by a friendship born here on these Forums, we decided to really try to do Cathe proud at least SOME of the time, and I think we pulled it off. We did incorporate a decent amount of working out (we took a stability ball, bands and dumbbells with us and some Cathe tapes, of course, and we also used the condo's workout room as well as the beach for cardio). We ate clean (until dinner }( ). We drank a lot of water all day (until after dinner}(, when we often did the Chardonnay Workout). And then we called off all the good-for-you stuff til morning, stayed up really late and did silly stuff and giggled. And ate ice cream. ;-)
I would do it again tomorrow. I'm so sad to be away from my homegirls, but I'm glad to be back here reporting in at the place where I met these two precious women!!!

Thank you all for your nice comments! I truly feel so blessed to have the relationship I do with Kathy & Lorrayne. We have been regular E-mailers since the RT but this trip made our bond even stronger. We DID have a blast...it was so fun walking/running/lunging on the beach! And, regarding the bicep pose...Lorrayne's camera had a timer on it and she would set it and RUN to get in the pic with us and it would go off before she made it over to us...we about laughed our heads off trying to get that pic! We had so many "laughing-attacks" while together. BTW, we watched a DVD with Jerry Seinfeld called, "This Is The Last Time I Am Going To Say This." We literally howled (almost peed my pants a few times! Sorry TMI!!!) if you want a good laugh. I see the gals spilled the beans about us having ice cream...it was in celebration of Lorrayne's upcoming birthday so that does NOT count, right? :7 All in all, it was such a great time and went by waaaay too fast. We def are planning to do it again. Thanks again for all your kind comments.

You know, the only thing that could even possibly have improved on our weekend would have been to have the WHOLE BUILDING rented out to Catheites -- and Cathe herself there too! ;-)
We really are blessed to have found our friendship with each other, and I see so much of that on these Forums -- I know a lot of other folks have formed real, lasting friendships here, too. Quite a place we have!
