Hey Candi,, Quick Question

Are you still using Ms.Fit? I've been using her for a while but I have to say I'm a little frustrated. I don't know if it's my age or what, I really don't have that much of a problem with getting the weight down but he bodyfat percentage is another issue. It seems to be taking a while. Are you still using her and how long did it take you to get down to your goal? Thanks (a little frustrated :.(

Mic,

I didn't make my goal with Ms Fit but I was doing really good. At the six week mark, we went on vacation to Italy so that was that.

I thought I might start again but then I realized that I learned enought through her program that I could probably do it on my own. I decided to order the BFFM book via the website and I'm glad I did because it appears she used the same resources to do my calculations.

I can tell you this...I did drop 2% body fat but would like to drop at least 4-6% more. I know I need to be realistic though because I am 50 years old and I know (despite what anyone says) I will have to work harder because of that. I have maintained (for the most part) the 50% Protein, 30% carb and 20% fat ratio and that seems to be working well for me. My clothes continue to fit real good and I am more defined than I have been in years.

Losing the fat is the issue for me as well. I have upped my cardio to 5 days for 45 minutes and the remaining two for 30 minutes. I do upper body twice per week and lower once per week but go as heavy as I can. I have noticed my body needs recovery time for muscle growth.

I plan to continue this for a few more weeks and see how I do. Then, I will shake it up again.

Thanks for the reply. I'm thinking about getting that book on-line too, I beginning to wonder if I could do just as well on my own, I seem to be stalled at the same bodyfat percentage rate so I don't know I'll give it a little longer and see what happens. Thanks again.
