Help with video selection

I don't have any Cathe videos but am excited about getting started. My immediate fitness goals are more defined upper body (including abs) and leaner legs. Which videos would you suggest for me to start with. I currently work out with Firm videos and consider my fitness level somewhere between intermediate and advanced.

Hi! I definitely recommend the PS series to help you meet your fitness goals. I haven't found any other videos that give me the results that these three do. Since you already do strength training you shouldn't have any problem doing these videos. Good luck.

I would recommend Pure Strength too if you are looking for just a strength routine. I absolutely love this series of videos. It is just strength however and more of a gym style training compared to the FIRM strength you are used to. Cathe uses heavier weights with less reps done in 2 or 3 sets per exercise. You will no doubt get great results form these tapes.

If you want a good all around starter to Cathe...The wedding video is a favorite to recommend to beginner Cathe-ites. It has a super cardio step workout...classic Cathe

and then a more toning strength section as a second complete workout..a great bargain.

Then there is the 6-pack express series..new..not shipped yet (and we are all dying for them!). It has five 30 minute cardios (intense Cathe style) and 6 one body part a day workouts. 6 videos in all..I am pretty sure the leg tape has no cardio..and from what I hear...it's a good thing

Good luck choosing...you really can't go wrong with any...besides, you get one..you will eventually want them all!

PS series and BodyMax

I agree with Jacque on the PS, BodyMax would also be great for you too. You'll get your cardio, then fast circit intervals for your legs, then upper body training with TOUGH abs at the end!! BodyMax is my favorite!!! However, Cathe will tell you in the video that this is an endurance workout and is it ever!! There'll be some strength gains[maybe not like PS] but I'm always sore the next day. PS and BodyMax IMHO are must haves!!

I just got my first set of videos recently and the Wedding Video is one of my favorites now! BodyMax is #1 for me, then MSB, then The Wedding Video. I did MIS last week and was sore for 2 days after! That is my #1 strength video! I even told my boss {who's a PT} about MIS! Anyway, TWV, is a great suggestion! I'm still not able to afford the 6pak yet,but I'm working on it. I'll just have to pay full price. That's OK, I'm sure they're worth it!!

I know what you mean about MIS. I did it yesterday and boy am I feeling it. It's a good feeling though to know that you're doing something good for your body and challenging those muscles.

I couldn't agree more

with you!! My husband {whose the biggest couch potatoe I've ever seen} dosen't understand when I say exercise is my insurance. You know what I mean! I get very grouchy without my daily dose! Man, when I did MIS my inner thighs, butt and back are what felt it the most!! I want to take it on vacation, but my DH says I should leave my stuff at home. MEN!!!
