help with kickboxing terms

Good morning everyone! Was enjoying Circuit Max yesterday and it occurred to me that I was guessing at what Cathe meant when she said a couple of things. Wanted to ask others who've been acquainted with Cathe longer what the meaning is. Here are 3 questions have...

What does it mean to chamber your kick?
I think I know what snap recoil means - does kicking this way provide
more benefits than just a regular kick?
This one's from another video, but when she says to keep your
shoulders retracted, does she mean pulled back (not to let them
slouch forward)?

Thanks for all your help!

I do not know it too.I know that when you do a punch or a kick you must extend the arm or the leg only till the 95% of the throw because the punch or the kick is not absorb for surface and it repercuss in the articulations.

A chamber is a preparation for a kick. It is to help position and land the kick correctly. Sometimes Cathe uses only the chamber as a warm-up ( for example bringing a leg up in front with the knee bent at an about 90 degree angle).
I don't know if a snap recoil kcik works the legs harder.
Retracted shoulders means to pull the shoulders back.
