I have a question about Cathe CTX dvd. IS this a dvd that you use alot of only occasionally? I was also wondering if it has premixes and the workout blender like the newer workouts.

thanks for you help

CTX DVD is one of the cornerstones of my Cathe collection (and I only buy Cathe DVD's). The only "premixes" on it are the Upper Body Split (which pulls all of the upper body resistance segments together) and the All Abs "premix", which plays all of the ab segments one after the other. It does not have a workout blender feature - that is a more recent innovation.

I love love love CTX. The workouts are not quite as finely chaptered as in later releases but it is good enough for me. My personal faves are the Power Circuit circuit segment and ab segment, the 10-10-10 hi/lo segment, the Step Intervals interval segment, the All Step and Leaner Legs ab segments (traditional ab work at its best), and my mostest favoritest Kickbox core and ab segment.

Since Cathe's not filming another advanced series this year, maybe SNM could re-release some older DVD's with some of the newer DVD technology (premixes, workout blender, etc.). Since I know nothing about DVD technology, I have no idea how labor intensive or cost effective this process would be. What d'ya think?

I use CTX as much as my many Cathe faves. Like A-Jock said, the only premixes are the UB split and the compilation of ab workouts. It doesn't have a blender but you can mix and match manually. It doesn't really take that long with a DVD.

I usually mix All Step and Step & Intervals for cardio, and Power Circuits (circuits portion only) and Kickbox for leg work and upper body. Or I mix certain portions of CTX workouts with certain portions of the workouts in Cathe's other series. It's hard to get bored with CTX in your collection.:)

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to say I am enjoying the ctx rotation so much. The work outs are great. I am on my 2nd week, but I feel great, they are a little shorter in time, but just the right intensity for me. I really want to stick this one out for 8 weeks.

I know jilly bean had great success just doing ctx for a while. I haven't seen her posts in a while.

If you are out there hi Jilly Bean.:)

Good night everyone

God Bless

Debbie
