Help! What to do with 30 minutes?

Cathlete
Hello everyone. I'm wondering if anyone can give me some suggestions about what Cathe cardio workouts and/or premixes to do if I only have 30 minutes. (I sometimes like to tack on a quick cardio session after a weight workout, but I usually only have about 30 minutes.) I've used MIC hi/lo a few times for this purpose, but I'm trying to think of some other ideas, too. Any suggestions. Thanks for your input.

Hi Deborah. Here are some suggestions:

Step Blast Combos 1,2 and 3 - 31 mins.
IMAX 2 Blasts Only - 28 mins.
IMAX 3 - All 10 Blasts only - 24 mins.
IMAX 3 - Step Only - 31 mins.
IMAX 3 - Intervals 1-5 including warmup & stretch - 35 mins.
IMAX 3 - Intervals 6-10 including warmup & stretch - 37 mins.
Low Max - all 7 blasts - 23 minutes
Boot Camp Cardio Only - 20 minutes
Step, Jump & Pump - all step - 26 mins.
Kick, Punch & Crunch - Cardio Conditioning 37 mins.

Maybe A-Jock can come up with a mish-mosh for you.

hi Deborah,
I actually made a little chart because sometimes I want to tack on a 30 min. ish workout:
Some in the list are not 30 min but are intense:
HSTA cardio only
BC cardio only
KM challenge only
any CTX cardio
Body Max cardio only(not the cardio with leg work)
MIC hi/lo
MIC step only
KPC cardio challenge (I think 40 min.)
SJP step cardio only
Imax 3 blast only
Imax 2 blast mania,or #1-5 or #6-10
Imax #6-10
Circuit Max hi/lo only

I may have missed some but I think that's most of them.
Deanie:)

Don't forget good 'ol Cardio & Weights Step Only premix. Clocks in at 30 mins exactly, I think.

Rhythmic Step warm up, combo 1, challenge & c/d stretch is 30 mins, and a great little sweat fest.

Cheers,
Sandra

Stop me if you've heard these already (reprinted from an earlier response to Sooooooooooooosan):

I-Max 3 warm-up and blast only premix (warm-up about 9 minutes; blast-only premix 24 minutes) then cooldown

Rhythmic Step warm-up (~9 minutes)
Body Max power circuit segment without the squats/lunges (just hit the "next" buttoon on the remote) (I almost corrected "buttoon" but I like it better that way) (14 minutes)
HSTA cardio only premix (12 minutes) (total of 35 minutes cardio)
Cooldown of choice

10-10-10 warm-up and kickbox (~14 minutes)
KPC high intensity drills (~15 minutes; do start at the "high intensity drills" selection on the Chapter menu)
Boot Camp kickbox premix (~6 minutes {?}
Boot Camp cooldown

Circuit Max warm-up, hi/lo and floor kickbox segments , fast-forwarding through the resistance cycles (~25 minutes give-or-take)
10-10-10 hi/lo segment (~9 minutes)
10-10-10 cooldown

Boot Camp cardio only premix including warm-up (~17 min?)
SJP hi/lo add-on premix (~18:30 min)
SJP cooldown

Rhythmic Step warm-up
Rhythmic Step challenge at the end (all of the previous combos done in a string I think)
Step Blast blast challenge
Step Blast cool down
(running time no clue)

More in a minute

Here are some more -

Boot Camp cardio only premix (including warm-up)
Kick Max Blast Challenge
Kick Max cooldown

Body Max warm-up and traditional step routine (even though this is steady-state, it still has the whoop-factor); Body Max cooldown

Also retrieve my rotation on the Rotations Forum "A-Jock's Faux-CTX Hardcore Rotation") (just go to the Advanced Search and use the keyword "faux" and it'll come up); all of the cardio is between 30-40 minutes to keep it consistent with CTX's cardio.

And . . . just do the CTX cardio segments as produced, one each day.

Wait a minute . . . another mish-mosh coming on . . .

CTX 10-10-10 warm-up, kickbox and hi/lo; then Step Intervals interval blast, then Step Intervals cooldown.

Wow. Talk about some great ideas! I just wanted to thank you all for your great input. Now I just have to decide which one to do first! Thanks again.

I second the wow! Aqua-Jock, you're fantastic with all these options. My uncreative mind just does the CTX cardios as produced. Thanks for the extra ideas!

Deborah,

I agree with Kathryn, the CTX series has lots of 30 min. cardio. Just can't beat it for time spent wisely.

Aquajock hit it on the head.
