Help!!! Rotation After 5 Month "Break"

Hi All:

I was using Cathe vids pretty much exclusively for about 2 years and became pretty fit with some good muscle developement. I could do the IMAXs all the way through and was even thinking about doing one of A-Jock's Mish Moshes, lol! (full disclosure: I am 45 and have rheumatoid arthritis)

Well, about 5 months ago I had some personal issues that interupted my workouts and am having a very rough time getting back into it. I have lost a lot of muscle and my cardio capacity has greatly decreased. I am having a lot of arthritis flare-ups as a result of being out of shape and feel miserable. I am wondering if anyone can recommend a rotation to help ease me back into regular exercise that is not a beginner rotation, but not advanced (yet) either? My goal is to get back to my former fitness level within 3 months (is that realistic?) I have all of Cathe's videos (also recently purchased Power 90x, but am a long way from being able to use them, and have pre-ordered Cathe's Hardcore Series which I hope to be back in shape for by the time they arrive!) and have about 1 to 1 1/2 hrs per day to exercise. I used to be pretty good at making up rotations, but can't seem to come up with anything in-between being "too easy" or "too hard"!:p

Thanks so much for your help!!

Pam

RE: Help!!! Rotation After 5 Month

Have you looked at some of Cathe's rotations that she has posted?
I seem to go by hers most of the time or check out www.fitnessvideofanatics.com they have a bunch of different types of rotations which you can pick and choose to what your looking for.
Either way HTH and good luck :)

RE: Help!!! Rotation After 5 Month

I know you said you didn't want a beginner rotation, but have you looked at Cathe's rotation for June? It uses her new beginner/intermediate workouts. I'm following that rotation myself after having some major life changes over the last 3-4 months. I actually have DOMS today after doing the lower body add-on yesterday and was drenched in sweat today after Body Fusion. I'm also trying to work my way back up slowly. I'm thinking the next step after this will be the Body Blast workouts as they are not as intense as some of her other workouts. Just a suggestion. :)
