Hi Cathe & Anyone else who can help!! :)

I have a wedding to attend in less then 6 weeks. I will be seeing a lot of out of town family that I havent seen in a few years. The last time we were together I was preggo!
Ive got 12 lbs to lose & a few inches here/there~ Plus I want to really tone my upper body. I have a spaghetti strap dress!
I consider myself an intermediate exerciser! I realize I wont get a miracle in 6 weeks but whatever I can get I'll take!!!
Suggestions?

I have Imax2/Cardio & Weights, Pyramids, Classics DVD, BootCamp/Muscle Endurance, Push Pull, Supersets, & a treadmill.
Almost forgot I also have Legs & Glutes!

why not try the wedding video??? It's really a great workout, and a bargain. 2 workouts are on the tape, one total body strength and one intense but easy to learn step routine :)

Good Luck, I'm sure you'll look great!

Hi There,
I have a wedding to attend in 6 weeks to.I don't suppose its the same wedding;) Just joking. My brother is getting married and I have been whining about those last 10 lbs forever! I figure its time to lose them. All I really need to do is clean up my diet.
Have you ever tried running? If you have never ran before, you will see great results with that. And if you are wearing spaghetti straps, I would definitly do the Tank Top Rotation. It should be still posted in the rotation forum.I would also keep my calories at around 1500(depending on your workouts) and don't eat after dinner.
What I am doing is.....writing down what I eat,not eating after dinner, staying in that calorie range, and I am doing the Aug rotation but with more running added.
If you haven't ran before and have no clue where to start, it would be a great idea if you ran/walk.Run for 1 min walk for 2 min (or pretty much whatever you can handle)As you get better, increase how long you run and decrease how much you walk.
Don't forget...lots of water!
Sun- Imax 2
Mon- PUB/run
Tues-PLB
Wed- Imax 2 + PUB (tri, bic and shoul)
Thurs-Run or step
Fri-C&W or BC
Sat-off
This is just a sugesstion. You may want to see what others have to say.I don't normally make up rotations but I just wanted to give you an idea of working you arms 3 x a week.
Good luck and let us know how it goes!
Lori:)

You don't say what your workout schedule is like now. I got the Intensity Series 3 weeks ago and along with watching what I eat ( as usual), have already lost almost 6 lbs. Maybe you should try cardio every day for at least 40-60 minutes and strength training 3-4 days a week. If you are doing alot of circuit training, like in Cardio & Weights, perhaps try sustained cardio instead. Good luck!

Cathe answered a similar post a few weeks ago and said basically to up the cardio concentrate on upper body workouts, but more important over the 6 weeks will be diet!!
