I'm still facing the dreaded time tonight when the whole fam wants to go out,(when a realtor is showing out house), so we have to be out and about for 2 hours, and they want to go to Ci-Ci's no less, the all you can eat pizza/salad/dessert buffet. I will completely lose myself if I go in there. Help!!! Any and all ideas are openly welcomed.

i would probably eat a healthy snack before leaving. take a bag of raisins, nuts along with you as well. when you get to ci-ci's see what sort of leafy greens and other veggies they have. have a big salad and water with lemon.

just don't go hungry- whatever you do! :)

that's a tough one. Maybe start with a big salad. If you're still hungry, one slice of pizza shouldn't hurt - as long as you take it easy on the toppings. OR...chew gum.

I would definitely go for the salad bar first and try to fill up on veggies and healthy toppings. These types of buffets often have soups. If there is a vegetable soup with no cream that might be good idea too because the water content will help curb your appetite. I don't know that I would bring in your own food because the people at the restaurant might get offended; restaurantiers react differently everywhere. Other than that drink lots of water and make sure that you are not starving when you go.

Take care,

Ady

Thanks for everyone's help. It turns out I did not have to have a face off with myself and the buffet:p

Our house showing was rescheduled. That was a dodgy bullet for me though, I'm not ready to face my temptations, not yet anyway.

Believe it or not I have taken food from home and food from another establishment to a restaraunt I didn't feel comfortable eating at. If anyone asks I just tell them I cannot eat certain foods or am allergic to them so I just bring my own because it's easier. As long as your eating with everyone else, no one will mind.
