HELP ME DECIDE!!

Stacy

Cathlete
I'm leaving on vacation in 3 months and dont want to look so pudgy in my vaca pics!! I'm about 20 lbs from my weight loss goal and have a high body fat percentage, I'm a short pear-shaped endomorph (if that matters). I'm following Weight Watchers.

I pretty much have all of Cathe's dvds. I also have a treadmill, and in general can workout 5 days a week. Which system/rotation will make me look best in my vacation pictures?? Not sure if I should do a bit more cardio for fat loss or a bit more strength, I want muscle and definition both! I know I'm asking for alot in 3 months, hehe.

What are your picks??? I'll be starting on Monday, thanks!

Thx I was actually looking at your rotation! I only have time for 5 workouts a week, I wish Cathe had more 5 day-a-week rotations! I'm never sure which workout to leave out. I've tried doing 6 workouts a week, but my body cant take with the long hours I put in at work each week! Your rotation is still a potential though :)

Instead of 2 days of Upper Body, maybe you can do 1 day of UB, using STS Total Body, High Reps - anything with an upper body premix. I love pyramid upper body! If you do that, then maybe on the days I have labeled spin, do a circuit style workout. Just some ideas.

I was toying with a similar idea, my problem is I love doing upper body splits as I tend to try to lift very heavy that by the time I get to the last 2 body parts I'm wiped out and I feel like I dont go as heavy as I could if I had done a split. Maybe I'm just mental! I was thinking of maybe alternating a split upper body one week with something similar to what you suggested the next. I really like STS's upper body workouts and I love splitting up Burn Sets as well! So many workouts, so little time! I have decided to give your rotation a go and tweak along the way, I'm welcome to any more ideas you may have to tweak things, thanks again!

I'm doing Horsing Around's rotation and I also only workout 5 days/week. I just do the three strength days and only do two cardio days instead of three. I just started week four and I'm loving this rotation!
