help! maid of honor toast soon!!!!!

Hello all,
I've been frantically trying to put together a toast for my best friends wedding (which happens to be this sat...nothing like procrastination, right?!) Just wondered if anyone had any tips. THis is my first time being the maid of honor and I have not been to many weddings yet (I'm 24) so I'm not too sure about the protocal. Should I memorize? Read it? I plan to keep it short 2-3 minutes! I'm not funny by nature, so I'm trying to keep it serious and sentimental (which is what my friend would want). I welcome any suggestions!

You can do an online search for "wedding toast" and you will find some websites that can help you decide on appropriate or common information to construct your toast. The websites also give you ideas on what the structure and flow of your toast can be. This helped me out when I was preparing a toast for my sister's wedding. Good luck!

Do whatever makes you feel comfortable, whether that be reading directly from a paper, memorizing, or keeping a few notes handy. As long as it comes from your heart, it'll be great!
