help... less weight lifting a bad thing?

I usually don't post but I visit the forum everyday. I have been doing Cathe for three years now and I love her workouts. I have slowly put back on several lbs lost and I want to get rid of them. I have cleaned up my eating a lot and that is the main factor. I am doing the rotation with the new DVD's which include curcuits and cardio but no weight lifting only. Before the rotation, I was doing PUB and PLB at least once a week and starting to feel really strong. I am worried that I am loosing my muscle. Should I quit this rotation and go back to having more weights in the week? The scale hasn't budged much but more due to eating than exercise. I need to loose about 30 lbs. I thought I would do that first and then work on building more muscle. What do you think I should do? I need to loose the fat first so the muscles show but I don't want to loose ground. Thanks for any advice!

My thought is that this is the beauty of a rotation. This is meant to deviate from what you normally do to shake up your body a bit. You may find your body responds really well to the change, and even better when you return to lifting days. I doubt you will lose any ground. If anything, your body will continue to stay highly responsive. That is a very good thing! Give it a go and see how it works for you.

Brian: Peter, those are Cheerios.
