Help...I've developed extremely sore elbows

Hi everyone,

I was doing lying overhead tricep extensions a few days back and had to stop. Near the top of the dumbell raise my elbows shot pain and I couldn't completely straighten them to finish the raise.

Yesterday when I did the chest GS workout, I noticed how it hurt some when I brought my dumbells to the ground to rest in between sets. I think for months I may have been lowering my 20's to quickly to the ground. Or maybe it was how quickly I was lifting them to do the next set while still seated on the bench. I'm guessing this is what caused my injury.

Has anyone had this happen. For now I am taking Aleve, eliminating that one exercise and resting the dumbells between my thighs on the bench rather the ground.

Anyone think it may be something else? I am fine with overhead presses, dips and kickbacks.
