Help Its hot No appetite

Help we are on day 3 of 95 degrees plus . They say its just the start , And well its blowing my hole eating every 2-3 hours ,Can hardly even eat . How do you ladies eat when its so hot? . I slam the water , But I know this is not good for my metabolizm.I fix the food eat a few bites and I'm over it . My hole family feels the same as me . We are mountain people and its rarely above 75-80.x( .Any ideas welcome !!!:) :)
 
I don't have any, sorry! I don't have this problem as I am used to humidity and heat in the summer, but I wanted to let you know that I feel for you!

Do you have air conditioning? How about fans? What are you eating? Maybe you could try to fix something cold. Picnic stuff like cold cole slaw or potatoe salad, watermelon, fried chicken... Maybe that will help. That is usually the stuff we eat on July 4th in my aunt's garage when it is 95 degrees and it doesn't seem to bother anyone. Just a thought.

I *rarely* have any issue eating, even in the most extreme of weather or circumstances, but I have a few suggestions.

The suggestion of eating something cold is a great one! Fruits, salads, etc. won't make you feel like you are being weighed down and might even be refreshing! Some tuna with crackers, egg salad, green salad wtih lots of goodies inside, etc. Try freezing some fruit - I love that :)

Smoothies. They are a great way to get some calories in and since you drink them, they also get more liquid in you and don't make you feel so full in the hot weather. For extra nutrition, drop a scoop or two of protein powder in there.

Eat little snacks that you like. Granola bars, cereal, yogurts, trail mix, etc.

Lastly, when I am in a mood about food (where nothing appeals to me) I usually eat either something new or something that I love.

Like the PP I do'nt have this problem..lol I can always eat. I was thinking maybe eating some watermelon, making a big fruit salad or something for when you just don't want to eat. Maybe making a shake.. smoothie or something w/ the protien mix in it. I am really new to all this so I don't know exactly what they are called, but I see many ladies drinking those. Hope it cools down for ya.
 
Try to eat cool stuff, put sandwiches in the fridge for a few minutes, etc, stay out of the heat, use A/c. This use to happen to me all the time in Az, our summers were between 120 - 130 and you were lucky if it got down to 100 by midnight.

Nibbling is good, also grab one of those electrolyte drinks. Yes, they are major calories, but they can do stuff water just can't when it's that hot. If you start to feel over hot, and really can't eat. Try a few sips of one of those. This sometimes is your body’s way of telling you. It's sweating too much, and losing stuff it needs and it doesn't have what it needs to replenish and be normal. I've always found if I drank a cup of one of those, my appetite would come back with in about an hour. But really try to stay as cool as possible, but do keep an eye on your body and make sure you don't sweat too much. Since the heat starts early it's nothing to sweat all stuff your body really needs out. Espeically if you don't have A/C.
