Help! I'm brand-new!

After using the FIRM videos for years and years, I just learned of Cathe through my local newspaper (people wrote in to the health section recommending their favorite exercise videos, and she was mentioned twice). I just ordered the Power Hour/MIS/Body Max DVD
and am a little scared that I'll be too sore to move for days afterwards. Any helpful advice/words of warning? If I enjoy these,
what should I augment them with next? I'm thinking a Legs & Glutes
(I know, I know; L&G). I'm not much on fancy dance moves, but I'm fairly coordinated and a pretty quick study.
Thanks - am looking forward to a new exercise routine!

Hi
Welcome, you will love it here - I know I do :)

I had also done the Firm for a while before finding Cathe but now she is about all I do now.
I started off with Cardio Kicks & Then Rythmic Step, now I have Step Blast, Step Jump & Pump, Kick Punch & Crunch, Circuit Max, BootCamp, Push & Pull and now waiting for the rest of the Intensity Series, I think next will be CTX its so hard once you start to stop, I am addicted, LOL.

Check out some of her video clips.

Enjoy and once again Welcome!

Hi cyclecat, welcome to the forum.:)

What to get next depends on your fitness goals. You've gotten a pretty good DVD as a sampler. PH for endurance, MIS for strength, and Body Max as both circuit-type for lower body and strength for upper body.

My advice is: Save, save, save so you can get them all.:7 Eventually you'll want them all.

L&G is a great leg workout. So are PLB and Leaner Legs.

A warning? Rhythmic Step is a tough workout to follow and will take many tries before you get it half-perfect. The Intensity Series will push you beyond your max, but you will love it.:)

Enjoy,
Pinky

Welcome cyclecat! A former Firmie too. I just ordered the same DVD as you did. I have most all of Cathe's workouts, but on VHS. I just got a DVD player and am getting some DVD's that I never got before. Legs & Glutes is great. Not dancy at all, just fast paced. I think you might just become addicted like the rest of us...:)...Carole

Wow, You are Amazing!! I don't have weight to lose, just need to tone and firm, but what an inspiration to see your photos. Thanks for the words of encouragement too.
