I am trying to convince a "bottom heavy" friend that she needs to give up SOME not all of the 5 hours a week of cardio she is doing. She lost a great deal of weight a year ago when I started being "accountability partners" with her & convinced her to try Cathe. She started lifting weights for the first time in years. Yes, she was still doing cardio. Since loosing the initial 20 lbs, she has been at a plateau for more than 8 months. She keeps increasing cardio & reducing weight training.
She is 5'2" (if that) & weighs 135 lbs. MOST is in her hips.
I have given her almost everything I can find & have had saved on reducing cardio & increasing weights but she just isn't getting it. She thinks the information I am giving to her is only for people "built like you (me)," 5'6" and weight carried proportionately.
I tried to "challenge" her to reducing her cardio for 2 weeks but she won't do it. I am to the point that I'm ready to tell her that if she wants my advice, then she needs to listen to it or quit asking me for it. I'm DONE!
Is there ANYONE here that can provice me with before & afters of someone built like her that has had success with less cardio & more weight training?
