Wow--I guess that everyone has the same problem. I understand how you feel b/c that's how I feel occasionally on Mondays when I've had one of those "I don't care" weekends! I feel fat and lazy and even though I want to work out extra hard to try to burn some of those extra calories, it's hard to work b/c my body literally feels swolen. Does anyone else have that feeling? When I go to do crunches, it's like there's an extra layer around my waist that's getting in the way!
I also get really mad at myself when I overeat or just eat something really bad for me. But what always helps me is looking at everyone around me--not at how they look physically, but at their diet/exercise habits. I know VERY FEW people that eat healthily and exercise regularly, much less obsess about it like I do! I imagine that they probably have that heavy bloated feeling every single day. This encourages me b/c I know that I'm making a true effort to live a healthy lifestyle.
Don't get me wrong--I'm not saying to judge yourself against others, I'm just saying that others make me realize just how much effort I put forth and that makes me proud.
