Help! After 4wks on BFL, a bit disappointed, anybody else?

hi everybody,

well..going onto my 5th week on BFL, and i must say, i'm a bit disappointed. :( (mwah!) i've stuck to the clean eating program, and have been doing the pyramids wkts plus imax for the cardio days. i'm tighter, (and so are my clothes! "still!" bummer.. ) but this 'looking bigger' thing..i'm not liking :( i'm not sure if it's just a temporary 'water/swelling of the muscle before it repairs thingie'..or something..but either way..it's not too attractive on me, "to me"....i guess it's not the look i was hoping for..looking for the lean look (Oh yeah, and i want long eyelashes and long legs, too! LOL ) and i'm getting discouraged. :(

i'm seriously considering adding more cardio, and more muscle endurance type workouts. (i.e. the july rotation). hoping that it'll induce more fat loss and definition, as cathe described the july rotation to be.

when i first started bfl, w/ the pyramids, i saw some great results..but it really stopped at around the 3rd week. i tried a bit of s&h, but felt that somehow, it was just gonna make my muscles bigger , since it's a muscle building type workout (which would be better for burning fat..but i don't want to get any bigger...i'm already relatively muscular. not sure which ecto/endo whatever thingie i am.. ;p lol ) either way, i just wanna be lean...defined!!!!

has anybody else that's been on the bfl program, had similar struggles? and did you add more cardio? or more of a muscle endurance type workout with better results? i figure i probably have to tweak the bfl program, but i don't know which way to tweak! :eek:

i'd appreciate hearing any of your experiences and any advice you might be able to offer.

For alot of people leanness and definition comes more from their eating patterns than their exercise regimens. That being said, you may want to start actually counting your calories especially with your "free" meal. That "free" meal, for some, can ruin an entire week's progress and really slow down results.
