I want to say good morning to everyone. I have gotten lots of good responses from everyone on different questions, so I want to say thank you. I do have another question though, so would love all your suggestions.

TO TONE UPLOSE INCHES UPPER THIGH AREA MOSTLY,I have read lift as heavy as you can when doing pub, ect, and have also read you get better results when doing weight work by using lighter weights to tone lose inches. What has worked best for you?. I have lost 2 1/2 pounds since doing Cathe, and I am almost at goal, but want to lose more inches in the upper thighs. I do have both MIS, PLB,PUB L&G. I also have all the BB series except for the super sets. I have all the dvd intensity series. I AM WAITING TO GET MY CTX DVD SOON I hope. I have a lot of Cathe's step tapes which I love. I really think they are great for cardio, step blast, Imax2, and Rythmic step and and oldie but goodie, power max. What has worked for you?.It gets a little confusing at times. Thanks from anyone can give me a little insight to this confused Cathe ADDICT. For me right now I am trying to do weights one day cardio the next AND a circuit tape in between. I have been trying to use my treadmill once a week, BORING BORING. I hope someone can shed some light on this.

Thanks sorry for the long question, I GUESS IT WAS MORE LIKE A BOOK OPPS SORRY

THANK YOU

DEBBIE:)

Hi Debbie,

I have been working out with Cathe for about 6 months now. Prior to Cathe I was doing more endurance type lifting along with circuit training. I am on my 4th week of doing the Pyramids and the fat is just melting off. I have gotten great results with these workouts. For me it seems like the heavy weight is doing the trick both for my upper and lower body. Good luck finding what works for you!!

Thank you Aila, wow good for you. I bet you feel great. I do love the pyramids, they are great. How many days a week are you doing these tapes?. What other work outs are you doing a long with the pyramids?.
Thank you so much. I need to get back to work. I will check back later. Cathe is great isn't she?.

Debbie

Hi Aila,

Would you consider sharing what you've done in the 4 weeks ?
Like how did you rotate your workouts with what videos ? I love the Intensity Series.

Thanks & Great question Debra :)

Debbie, we have no control over which parts of our bodies lose fat first. I've leaned out pretty much except for the places where I need to lose some flab -- the saddlebags, inner thighs and baby pooch. What really melts my flab is what I don't like doing so much -- crosstraining or circuit workouts. Kickboxing has done a good job on leaning out my hips. The saddlebags are still there, though much smaller than ever. There are some ladies in this forum who do Pilates for their thighs and have seen results. It's just a matter of finding out which combination of workouts will give you the best results. Good luck.

Thanks a lot Pinky, you are right we are all different. I have lots of muscle on my legs but need to tighten the backs of them a little.I am a huge fan of her step tapes and boy do I burn a lot of calories doing them, according to my HRM. I have heard so much about heavy weights doing the trick, and some say no lighter with more reps and I have also heard the CTX rotation was good. I am going to keep plugging away with Cathe to find what is right for me. I love her kickboxing tapes CK, KB, AND KP&C. I ALSO LOVE LEGS GLUTES. Thanks so much, you all have been very helpful. I am doing something right with her tapes the scale finally moved down 2 1/2 pounds after many months so that is good.
If anyone has anything they would like to add or share it would be great.

Have a great day everyone. Off to work, again.

Debbie

Hi Debbie and Laura,

This is what has been working for me:

Mon-Off
Tues-MIC
Wed-PUB
Thurs-IMAX 2
Fri-PLB
Sat-Cardio & Weights
Sun-KPC/L&G Premix

I agree that everyone is different, but this has done wonders for my whole body. I really wanted to get a little bit of strength gains and definition and this seems to be working for me. Good luck to you both!!

Aila:)

Thank you so much Aila, I have all the tapes you mentioned and I am going to give it a try, HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN DOING THIS ROTATION I have done MIC and wow eee what a work out, I am drenched. After this rotation I am going to do one with the CTX tapes.

If you are ever interested in doing a rotation, let me know. Did you ever measure yourself before you started?. Your rotation looks very well balanced. I am going to get started on it ASAP, THANK YOU. I think I will shoot for next week.

I also am going to try one with the CTX DVD when it comes do you have that one as well?.

Email me anytime would love to hear your progress and share with you mine.

Thank you

Debbie

Hi Debbie,

I am on my 4th week now on this rotation. MIC is definitely challenging for me. Someone on the forum made a really great suggestion about this workout. It was to do the warmup/step portion first and then do the hi/lo after. It has really helped me survive this workout..lol. I did measure prior to this rotation, but won't measure until I am finished. I plan on doing this for 6 weeks total.
I hope this works out for you!!

Aila:)

You have me convinced I am going to try that starting Monday, I better hang on to my hat and get ready for MIC, it is an oldie, but the best cardio tape I have ever tried.

If you ever want to do the CTX challenge lets do it together it would be fun to have someone to check in with. Please email me anytime.

Thanks you are a vey convincing person and so motivated, I can just feel your excitement and enthusiasim.

I would love to keep in touch it really does help me with that.

Take care Alia and thanks

Debbie

I have all of those except MIC. What can I substitute? I have teh Intesnity Series and Body Blast.

Also, is it okay to do Cardio and Weights right behind PLB? Do you find that your legs recover quickly enough?

Thanks for the rotation! It sounds great! I have a lot of "thigh" to lose too!

Hi Debbie,

Let me know how that goes for you. When you are finished I will be more than happy to do a CTX challenge with you. I haven't actually done the series in it's own rotation. I have taken wokouts from the CTX series and have mixed them in with other DVD's. You can email me at [email protected] when you are ready. Talk to you soon!!

Aila:)

Hi,

I feel that Cardio and Weights is more of an upper body workout. I do not feel that my lower body gets any actual toning benifits from this workout. I would suggest IMAX 2 or any other other high intensity cardio for MIC. Good luck!!
