Happy Anti-Procrastination Day

Yesterday was pleasant. :7 All those fruits and veggies really fill me up. DH brought home Godiva chocolate and I didn't want any!

I made this recipe last night and it was met with good approval around our dinner table.

Notes:1. I substituted Seitan for the shrimp and served shrimp on the sideto DH and DS.
2. I know oysrer sauce is not vegan , but it was in my cupboard already so I hated to throw it away. ( When it is gone I will just use soy sauce and sherry.)
3. I omitted stir fry sauce and used soy sauce
4. I used dark sesame oil for the oil
5. I used whole wheat spaghettit instead of chinese noodles (again this is what was in my pantry)

Good morning Judy and all to follow. for some unknown reason, I am in a wonderful, optimistic mood today. Will see if the mood can be maintained through good eating.

B - fresh fruit salad, toasted oatmeal bread w/pb&j
nothing, nothing,nothing, until:
L - BBQ salmon and brown rice wrap, carrots, orange
nothing, nothing, nothing until:
D - tonight is church, so no time to cook. Will be meeting DH at Wendy's for a Mandarin Chicken Salad

Yesterday I managed to do a hi/lo workout even with a sore throat, so today may be weight work. Maybe the L&G I had planned for yesterday. Have a wonderful day all.
 
Good morning, ladies -

Judy, you're right. All this roughage is quite filling. It makes me feel like I need to cut back!! I did add a little cheese to dinner last night though - I am not about to let it turn blue and fuzzy in my fridge.

B - PB on 1 slice ww bread, yogurt, soy milk (too much. I'm full)
L - greens and veggies salad, 1/2 avocado
D - Shoot. I forgot to plan. A medium-sized salad and something grain-based.
Snacks - lots and lots of grapes. I bought a bag Monday, and the stupid things were older than I thought. I need to eat them fast!

Yesterday was a great day! Today...might be a little stressful.

On the run today so planning has been hard

B- 1/4 c honey nut cheerios w/1% milk
S- Orange and grapes
L- Wendy's chicken salad
S- Protein shake
D- Grilled Chicken w/veggies and 1/4 c brown rice

Shannon-I did the same thing last Sunday with the grapes so I will be munching on grapes too today.

Thanks for posting the recipe/link, Judy. Wegman's is a grocery chain, right? I don't live in a metro area, but I have heard of Wegman's for some reason. I love finding new cooking sites. :D

B=tea so far...been too busy this morning to eat myself but will soon.
L=Slice of pork loin with salad
S=Something in the crockpot as have church tonight and kids have religion classes at 6:00. Wednesday evenings are always hectic.

Not sure on workout today...something cardio though. Been trying to do Cathe workouts that I haven't pulled out in awhile...might grab the cardio hits dvd today.
 
Meal 1- 3/4c oatmeal, apple w/peanut butter
Meal 2- yogurt w/3 eggs
Meal 3- tunafish w/broccoli
Meal 4- protein shake
Meal 5- dinner: sloppy joes w/salad
Meal 6- maybe a PM protein shake if I can get dinner ready by 5?

Morning everyone! Happy Hump Day!

Well, yesterday was going very well, until I was craving something sweet, so my SO whipped up some bananas and sauteed apples wrapped in phyllo pastry with chocolate shavings and caramel sauce.

Today:

B - mixed cereal, banana, soy milk
S - apple, 1 piece grain toast with pb
L - veggie shepherd's pie, lf yogurt, orange
S - cottage cheese and pineapple
D - egg whites, baked sweet potato, broccoli

Workout today is Power Hour.
 
Oh Shelley...I am seething with jealousy over your SO. Next time you take a vacation...can he come and stay at my house while you're gone? :)
 
LOL - it's amazing how many people wanna borrow him:p The nice thing about being with a chef who doesn't actually work as a chef is that he LOVES to cook at home, instead of coming home and being sick of cooking:)

Yesterday went well and according to plan.
Today is:

B - protein shake, rice cake, peanut butter
L - Subway turkey sandwich, apple
S - carrot sticks, cottage cheese
D - Pork chop and vegies

Don't know wether I will get to exercise today or not. I slept so poorly last night I made an executive decision at 2 am (since I hadn't been to sleep yet) to turn off the 5 am alarm.
I will try to do the Yoga I intended to do this morning at some point in the day, but that usually doesn't work too well.

Good morning ladies! I am soooo glad that I get paid tomorrow so I can stock up on fruits and veggies.

B: oatmeal, 2 pc dry wheat toast, coffee
S: 1/2 c. ff cottage cheese
L: noodles/sauce/black beans
D: grilled ham, potatoes, beans

Today's workout is 3.5 mile walk and hopefully L&G.

Gee, I was getting ready to ask to borrow Shelley's SO for a while, but it looks like his schedule is already full. Drat.
