Healthy Eating (BFL) Checkin 2/23/05

I am starting to not want to eat healthy or exercise. I am getting into a blah state and it probably has to do with it being so dreary outside. I need some sunshine and warm weather.

Did BFL style lower body routine today with MM abs

B - cottage cheese w/yogurt
S - Balance Go Mix
L - big salad w/shrimp
S - BFL bar
D - taco salad

B - carnation instant breakfast with 1% milk, slice of pumpkin bread
S - yogurt, apple
L - chicken roll-up in wheat tortilla
S - protein shake
D - steak, vegies, pasta
S - protein shake

I'm with you Rhonda, I'm sooo ready for spring.

Ok, I'm trying something new. I'm going to do a combination of the David Kirsch Ultimate New York Body Plan with carb cycling. Since I can't do 2 straight weeks of super low carb, I'm going to do 2-3 days super low carb (no starch, no dairy, no fruit), and then throw in a day of moderate carbs (oatmeal, sweet potatoes). Hopefully it won't affect my energy level too much. I need to do something drastic to get these last few pounds moving. So today is my first day of super low carb.

1 - chocolate protein shake, 1 Tbs peanut butter, blended with water
2 - salmon, spinach salad
3 - 2 hardboiled eggs (technically, I probably shouldn't eat the yolks, but they keep me full, so I'm eating them)
4 - vanilla protein shake
5 - chicken breast, broccoli

Rhonda, I feel you! I was like that last week through the weekend. Have a piece of chocolate cake; you'll feel so much better, then be ready to get back on your plan with gusto! :7 .

Hello ladies!

Well yesterday was my first day back to working out in a month!!! and MAN have i gotten weak! haha. I didn't gain any weight, (actually lost 3 lbs, probobly all musclex() but i am SO SORE today and LOVE it! But that also means i have to start eating super clean again to fuel my body well.

b - orange, toast, egg whites w/ cheese
l - spinach, kidney beans, rice, lf cheese
s - apple, cottage cheese
d - bbq chicken pizza (w tons of veggies!) on home made WW crust:9
s - glass of soy milk

Rhonda: Maybe you just need some new recipes to try. I was going through the same thing until I changed up my menu.

Turkey bacon, string cheese, oats
Black bean chicken stew
Turkey meatloaf, mashed potatoes
Eggs/egg whites, mashed potatoes
Cheese, apple (or if no agility: blueberry buttermilk BFL waffle)
Balance Go Mix (of if no agility: couscous and egg whites)
