Healthy Eating 9/27/04

Hi everyone,

Didn't see a thread so I am starting one.

B - scrambled eggs with asparagus

s - cheese stick

L - ? hopefully salad

s - walnuts

D - chicken with green beans

Lost another 1.5 pounds, yeah. After my eating on Sunday (way too much ice cream) I probably put it back on. Back to my good eating.

yeah weekends are always tough x( , so I am always glad than it's Monday, so I can eat right again. :D

4:30 am CTX Kickboxing

S - Whey Protein Shake

B - Cereal with Banana

L - Salad and probably another protein shake

S - Trail Mix

D - Sole with Broccoli and some fruit for dessert.

Fell way, way off the banwagon. Eating crap, daily, hourly, it's been a bad, bad week. I'm fine when i'm on track, but those damn free days and i'm done. If i take one free day then i cannot get back on track. It's all ruined. So i'm trying hard to motivate myself but am finding it hard.

Glad to know I'm not the only person that fell off the wagon. I had fettucini alfredo yesterday (oh, nooo, not much fat in that! ;-) )

5:30 am - ME, noon - interval run on the treadmill for 2 miles

B - coffee, blueberry scone
S1 - yogurt and cantelope
L - salad with string cheese and apple
S2 - Myoplex lite shake and peanuts
D - beef with brown rice
S3 - myoplex lite shake

No weight loss (and that was a weigh-in before the alfredo! x( )

Hi Wayne! You've helped me tremendously w/tweaking my diet so let me help you now!!!;-) Your doing P90X & you know you've got to eat more which you probably are but just not the right kinds of things. Can you pack up some small meals for the day? I usually do some of my cooking on a late Sunday afternoon which consists of tilapia fish, mixed veggies, sweet potatoes, brown rice & white potatoes for my Meals #3 for the week. Can you do this too? I know the weekends for me too are the hardest. Too much to do eat far less than I'm supposed to due to running around not to mention the booze (wine) that I like to consume on Fri. & Sat. nites. Personally your so thin to begin with I don't think you have anything to worry. Ha! I've seen pics of you & you look real "fine" to me.}( Anyway, I hope I've helped.

I decided to have a rotation of working one body part per day using P90X DVDs along w/Cathe's CTX cardio. I must say I'm LOVING this new rotation. Sat. was chest/CTX SNI & Ab Hits & Sun. back/AS. Tonight's S&H Legs & PLB stability ball section only & Ab Ripper X. My eats for today are:

Meal 1: mini oat bran bagel w/whipped cream cheese & coffee
Meal 2: FF vanilla yogurt w/muesli w/hazelnut coffee
Meal 3: tilapia w/pineapple salsa/sweet potato/mixed veggies/peach
Meal 4: mixed green salad w/chicken & feta cheese
Meal 5: scallops/mixed veggies

Today's eats:

Ham and Cheese Egg Casserole (EFL cookbook)
String cheese, extra lean turkey bacon, oatmeal
Smart ones low carb chicken parmesan, add in corn
String cheese, extra lean turkey bacon, WW toast
Turkey meatloaf, mashed potatoes (EFL cookbook)
CC, fruit

Workout: Cardio at lunch and possibly LBWO tonight after work if I have enough time. Missed it yesterday.

Well, I am already going of my plan.

For Lunch I had half a chicken-cheese sandwich with healthy bread, but have half left, so I will have that for a snack, instead of the Trail Mix. I also had the most bestest chocolate protein shake :9 with a banana and a couple of slices of Kohlrabi. :)

I got through Breakfast and my first snack and then I skipped my planned noon run to go out to lunch to celebrate a coworker's birthday. I had a chicken quesadilla with chips and salsa. x(

Oh man, just shoot me now.

Hi everyone...I did fairly well over the weekend, just didn't get enough salad yesterday it seemed to be a fruit day for me! :)

Coffee and half a protein bar before my workout

Core Synergistics and a 4 mile run.
B: Normal protein smoothie
S: Not so good either, (why did I but those pretzels!!!)
L: Leftover Bean salad from yesterday mixed with my fresh spinach and red leaf lettuce, 1 slice of watermelon (I can't believe it'll be gone soon)..:(
S: apple
D: Salad an trying a new recipe "From the Hearth Soup" (lots of vegeys and herbs).
Dessert: fruit smoothie................:)...carole
