Healthy Eating 11/4/04

Boy I keep expecting to see new pictures every day and when there none it bums me out. Does anyone else feel like this?

Anyway, today started at 4:10 and did Pyramid lower body (standing), 24 minutes on the bike.

B - scrambled eggs w/asparagus, low fat pierogies
S - apple, cheese
L - green salad with chicken
S - cashews
D - I have lean ground beef out but not sure what to make with it. I wanted to make the EFL taco pasta salad but we don't have all the ingredients and I am too lazy to stop by the store to buy them. So now I have to figure something else out.

Hoping to get in a stretch or yoga tape tonight.

I did Simply Step + SJP (step only) + Core (Bootcamp premix)

1) 1 Egg/2 Egg white omelet w/peppers, mushrooms & light cheese + small glass lite fruit juice

2) Protein shake w/4 strawberries

3) Mixture of cut up apple/oatmeal/cottage cheese

4) Huge salad w/light dressing & imitation crabmeat + baked skinless chicken thigh

5) Danon Light & Fit Yogurt + 1/3 cup Kashi Go Lean + 1/2 banana

6) Taco meat + stir fry veggies


Plus I have two cups of coffee everyday with ff coffee mate or ff carb select coffee mate and Splenda.

I keep looking for the pictures too but today's probably a recovery day for them. They need it!

Tonight's workout at 7:30 is a leg workout that Diane Sue (WD) was kind enough to devise for me. Its a real goody & I can't wait to do it.

Today's meals are:

1: 3 egg white omelet w/crumpette & blueberry jam + coffee
2: mini whole wheat bagel w/cream cheese + white tea
3: tilapia/mixed veggies/banana
4: chicken salad
5: skillet chicken w/spinach (recipe from Saving Dinner)

I'm glad some new ladies have joined in; the more the merrier.:D

5:30 a.m. Boot Camp

B – 3 scrambled eggs (3 egg whites and 1 yoke) with brussel sprouts
S – Cottage cheese with raspberries
L – Salad with smoked salmon, walnuts and shredded cheese
S – Apple slices and small carrots
D – Taco salad, small glass red wine

Looks like many of us are using up that ground beef to make Taco Salads tonight! I know the red wine is probably a no no, but in the past year I quit smoking, lost 50 pounds, and started exercising again after about a 10 year hiatus. Giving up wine and salt is not going to happen!

This morning was PUB and the cardio from CTX All Step.

B - Protein shake
S - Protein Bar
S - Peanuts
L - Turkey sandwhich on whole wheat bread
S - Low carb yogurt
D - Chicken breast with green beans
S - Peanut butter on whole wheat toast

I seem to have a problem when I snack on peanut butter that I am not sticking with the 2 TBLS serving size. I'm afraid I'm eating way too much, but I just love the stuff!!!

Hey ladies!

Here's my day:

1-1 egg white, 1 whole egg because the darn yolk accidently fell in
2 slices turkey bacon
2- apple with peanut butt
3- chicken breast and gr beans
4- protein bar
5- salad with tuna, gorgonzola and dressing
6- maybe some ricotta cheese with cocoa and splenda if I'm hungry.

Workout is BodyCombat...I teach tonite.

I looked over Cathe's bio during the IS series and she basically said she had upped her protein, dumpmed alot of carbs and stuck to protein, peanut butter, veggies and fruit. I decided that sounded good to me so I'm giving it a shot. Low carb but still get some fruit which is nice. I'm trying to ease up on the cheese too.
 
Yeah, I hear you on that one Katie. That's the reason that I don't eat peanut butter anymore!:)
Ok, so last night I made pumpkin bread, very yummy. I did have a slice of that. But today I've had none, thank you very much! I'm very proud of that. Especialy since Dh took the rest of the first loaf to work, so my son had me make another one this morning for him. Ha, ha!

B- 4 egg white omlette
s- Once agian ate breakfast at 9, so I didn't have one.
L- left over pork tenderloin w/ peas, green beans and carrots
s- Protein shake w/ ground flax seed
D- Chicken w/ broccoli

My headaches and body aches are gone today! Yay! So, I think that in the future if I want some coffe I will save it for only the weekends. That way I don't have to go through that again. No fun.
Oh, for my workout today I think I'll do Shape it up from the slim series.

So excited, I am eating a lot more than I was on ww and my muscle power is increasing! I have a ton of energy too which is awesome~!

Did PS BBA this am

1 - Monster smoothie with nonfat plain yogurt, frozen blueberries, flax, protein powder, and raw oatmeal. 2 egg whites.
2 - Protein bar
3 - chicken breast, raw veggies, low fat homemade mashed potatoes
4 - apple, cottage cheese
5 - salmon, veggies, same potatoes
