HI all! I hope that I had the correct heading for our thread. If not, sorry.
It's TTOM for me, so this week may be hard, but I'm sticking to my guns! Mainly because this weekend I was no angel. :(
My workout will be IMAX 2 for sure!

B- egg white omlette
S- Apple
L- SAlmon W/broccoli
S- string cheese
D- Chicken W/ romaine lettuce and Newmans own light balsamic vinagrette

Hello all!

This thread looks a bit scarce this morning so i thought i'd chime in :) This weekend was definately not so good in the eating department, but it sure was a lot of fun! }( I am trying to do better today!

b - 1 egg 2 egg whites, half WW bagel, V8
s - 5 prunes
l - Amy's organic bean burrito
s - apple
d - Protein shake w/ lots of fruit!

workout today will most likely be step and PUB, or Leaner legs. Depending on how i feel :)
 
Hi all! I'm back at it. It was Cardio & Weights for me this morning. It's tough after taking 3 days off to have my wisdom teeth pulled. And believe me mashed potatoes and chocolate shakes is NOT clean eating, but has been my diet for the past three days.

B - Protein Shake
S - Protein Bar (still a little difficult to chew)
S - Banana
L - Soup, half peanut butter sanwhich
S - Don't have one because I brought an apple and there is NO WAY I'll be eating that.
D - Don't know. I'll have to see what I'm up for.

Hi ladies,
This morning I went to the gym and did my HST Workout #9 and this evening I plan on doing Cathe's Basic Step + an Ab Hits section with planks while dinner cooks. Have a good one, I'll try and check in here this week but it's going to be a little crazy 'til after the holiday. :)

Meal 1: two eggs cooked with Pam + green chili & pork
Meal 2: oatmeal, cottage cheese, & apple mixture
Meal 3: Homemade turkey chili over a salad w/lite cheese & lite sour cream
Meal 4: Balance Go Mix + cup of grapes
Meal 5: Chicken fajitas (chicken, peppers, onions, lite cheese, & lite sour cream)
Meal 6: 1/2 cup cottage cheese w/pineapple

Two cups of coffee w/fat free Coffee Mate & Splenda
 
mmm, Fajitas! Ok, just had to do that because of the taco bell commercial that I saw a few times this weekend. Ha, ha! But, really they do sound good I should try those sometime.

TTOM for me too over the weekend and it was baaaaad. Also overslept again so I'll need to get my SH workout done while the boys are napping, hopefully. Sheesh.

1 - smoothie with nonfat plain yogurt, flax, blueberries and banana and protein powder
2 - proten bar
3 - salad
4 cottage cheese apple
5- chicken and veggie/salad
 
Hi Ladies!

This is my active recovery week so Sunday I did Power Hour. Tonight at 7:30 will be Yoga Focus from Karen Voight.

Today's meals are:

Meal 1: cereal w/blueberries + hazelnut coffee
Meal 2: mini egg bagel w/cream cheese + white tea
Meal 3: went out to lunch w/girlfriend from work had a chicken breast on 7 grain bread w/lettuce & tomato w/ginger ale
Meal 4: strawberries
Meal 5: turkey cutlets w/marsala sauce/quinoa pasta/mixed veggies

Hi,

I am new here but I am trying to see what works for other people that workout with Cathe.... I am in a stall mode right now for weight loss, that or I tend to gain weight.
I have thought of BFL or reading Eating for Life but I am not sure if its to strict...being I have to have something in my coffee & I like my light ice cream at night. Hmmmmm.... anyway here is what Ive eaten today.

B- 3 Egg whites & 1/2 c. cottage cheese
S- Nothing but water
L - Salad w/ light cheese & 1 c. of 6 can chili ( no meat )
S- Maybe some cottage cheese or some strawberries
D - Tacos I think.... with beef, lettuce, tomato, FF sour cream
S- Light ice cream

So am I on the wrong track here ? LOL..... I am laughing just because of my ice cream habit. I don't know, maybe BFL isn't for me but I need to do something to make the scale move in the right direction...... I know if I stopped working out I would lose but I don't want to stop exercising.

Hi Laura! You want to make sure you combine a carb with a protein at each meal with a little bit of fat too. I would ditch the cottage cheese for your second snack & eat an apple w/peanut butter or apple w/nuts instead. Also next time change up the beef to chicken instead. There's too much fat in the chop sirloin. Otherwise, its fine. HTH, Kathy
 
Welcome Laura! I know that I had no choice but to cut out my favorite things to eat and I have been lossing weight because of it I think. I cut out my morning coffee, I now sometimes have green tea, no honey. I used to love to snack on cheez its and things like that. I no longer do that.
If you want a snack at night I would suggest to limit your light ice cream to an occassional treat, maybe once a week. And instead have an apple, or some other kind of fruit, like strawberries. I know it's not the same, oh how I know. But it will more than likely get you out of the slump that you are in.
Congrats on your weight loss that you have achieved so far though! You look fabulous! And keep posting!
