Here's today's list:

7:30am - SB/SJP Step/Hi-Lo Premix

Protein shake
porridge
cottage cheese (LF)
chicken breast with cauli & broccoli
almonds
homemade lamb meatballs & salad

6:00pm - 40min interval run & Ab Ripper X

Wow, thanks for all the responses on yesterdays thread. Glad I am not the only one.

4am Jay precision spinning

B - scrambled eggs w/asparagus sprinkled with cheese

s - cashews or cheese stick

L - ??

S - caramel corn (the last of it.)

D - ??

What a day, not sure what I am going to eat. Lunch maybe some chicken noodle soup. Dinner have no clue.

Good morning everybody,:)

I am back on track, after I stepped on my scale yesterday, what I normally never do and suddenly weight 4-5 lbs. less than normal. It was in the evening though and I had a lot of dinner yesterday. Wow, so I guess my eating and exercising really can't be that bad!!! I am really excited! :) :) :)

4:30am Boot Camp (I only have done this workout once before, I just wasn't in to it and I have it for a while now, but I really enjoyed it, just a little to much plank work, but I guess now have something to work up too x( , yeah ;-) )

Here is todays eat:

B - Protein shake, Bran-A-Crisp with a piece of cheese

S - 2 hard-boiled eggs

L - Salad with tomatoes, ham and a couple croutons, Protein shake and couple of dried mango slices

S - mmh don't know for sure, maybe an apple with peanut butter

D - Happy hour at Saltgrass :D , I am going to try their chicken salad tonight

maybe some fruit for dessert

Hi Everyone!

You go Kristine! Congratulations! What your doing is obviously working. I'm so happy for you.

I was supposed to do yoga last night but was just too tired. Tonight's nothing either. I always take Friday off.

Today's eats are:
Meal 1: cereal + coffee
Meal 2: vanilla yogurt w/muesli + white tea
Meal 3: mixed green salad w/feta cheese + veggie burger on ww hamburger bun
Meal 4: probably will have to be cottage cheese w/mandarin oranges. Have to take my son to the dr. for check up so Meal 4 might be nothing.
Meal 5: shrimp stir fry

Hi everybody!

Thanks to KathyH for all of her help generating the numbers. I am determined to lose those 4 pounds. 2239 seems like a huge number of calories though - yikes. I'm lucky if I eat 1400 now.

Anyway, 6am - PLB (oof!)

B - myoplex lite shake, coffee
S - pumpkin bread
L - salad
S - myoplex lite shake, peanuts
D - soup and some sort of protein
S - peanut butter on wheat toast and tea

Tomorrow is C&W and Sunday is my free day for food and exercise. :7

Hi Ladies!

Shopgirl: Yes it does like a lot of calories but that's b/c all of us were so conditioned into thinking that we had to eat LESS to get thinner & lose bodyfat. However, that's not the case. If your eating very nutritiously & relying on protein, veggies, fruits & the good carbs you won't be hungry & you'll be quite surprised when the #s come off. You shouldn't be relying on those shakes; those Myoplex shakes have fillers in them. I would prefer that you got your nutrients from real food. I'm an old timer on these forums & have learned a LOT over the years. So EAT!! Not that I'm telling you what to do mind you!! Just kidding! Best, Kathy:D
 
I am still working on portion calculations! I think I am honing in though.

Kathy: I sure would appreciate it if you could generate the calorie numbers for me....I am 37 yo, 5 foot 7, 121 lbs, my body fat I think is about 21 percent. I would really like to lower that...I don't care what the scale does. I'd like to add some muscle too ideally. My lifestyle....I am on my feet a lot chasing after 3 kids under the age of 6! So I am not sure if that counts as light activity or what!! The current plan is to workout with Cathe 5x a week, with 3 of those being weight training.

Thanks a million in advance. I hope I am not being presumptuous.

So far today I am doing good...

#1 1 c plain yogurt, 1/2 blueberries, 1 t flax seed and about 1/2 c oatmeal in a smoothie
#2 Rice cake, apple, 1/2 protein bar

don't know what I will do next

tough finding protein sources 5x a day!

I know the shakes are kind of a shortcut, sometimes I just don't have enough time to prepare a day's worth of food. In any event, thanks for all of your advice. Hey, I'm a good Italian girl, you don't have to tell me twice to go eat. ;)
