It's funny you mention that. I'm taking my CFT certification on Sunday of this week through ISSA. It's an acronymn for International Sports Sciences Association. That offer quite a few certification, I belive mostly is resistance or weight training. They were founded my Sal Arria and Fred Hatfield his nickname is Dr. Squat. He holds the world record for the heaviest Olympic squat 1100lbs! He weight about 245 or something like that when he squated that weight. Dr. Hatfield holds a PHD and Sal Arria does too, I belive. There are quite a few programs they offer including and the ISSA is an internationally recognized cerficiation. They have a website www.FitnessEducation.com. Go check it out.
