Actually, I think we are pretty cool. Just like outside this morning. My window thermometer says 58, and I think it's supposed to only get into the 80's today. Only!

Jen, the She Michele mentioned is an absolutely evil, manipulative, nutso woman at work who is going to be filling an opening in my department. She has already worked in my department and left it twice, the last time calling us all back-stabbing biatches. HR was afraid of a law suit and since she has senority over a sweet, smart second shifter, they gave She the job. The entire department (6 of us) is sick over it, so you know it's not just me. I won't be able to post at work any more. I'll have to toe the line and watch my back.

Let's see, my cat story for today is pretty boring. Both the boys keep scratching at DD's closed door. She had to kick them out and close the door because they kept yowling or jumping in the crib and waking the baby. Cats hate closed doors, even if they don't want to go into the room. So now they are both mad at me because I chased them away from the door.

Today will be a rest day. We are going to a ball game this evening and I won't have time to workout. I'm so envious of all the CCPPers. I really feel like I'm missing out, but don't have the neccessary equipment.

Goooooooood morning!!

It was 76 degrees outside at 8 this morning. It's supposed to be in the high 80's to mid 90's everyday this week. I can't stand it -- I feel like crap in this kind of weather. It's stifling. ;( . We're expecting thunderstorms today and I fear it will just raise the humidity to an unbearable level.

My IL's are returning home from the MMGHH today and bringing one of my nephews with them (not the one with autism). He's going to stay for a week and I promised to take him to see Harry Potter ond day. His birthday is this month so we're having a little party for him. He's into target shooting so we went together with DH's parents to buy him a really nice gun (everyone on my DH's side of the family shoots for recreation and have since childhood. DH got his first gun when he was 8 years old). My nephew saw this gun in the store and really loved it, so we talked to his parents and they approved of the purchase. So, how do you gift wrap a gun? -- ROTFLMAO!!

Lots of people use CC for outdoor runs/walks. I'd love it if you could do the PP workout with us. . Have fun at the ball game! I'm going to my IL's for dinner tonight. I think they want us to bring pizza. They'll be getting home from the MMGHH right around dinner time so there really isn't time for much else. That's okay with me because I didn't get my pizza on Friday so I need a pizza night do-over.

JEN - I'm glad you're feeling better. I'd be totally wiped out if I did as many HARD workouts as you. Holy moley, Jen, talk about a Type A personality. You should strive to become a Type B -- you'll live longer :7 -- Just kidding!!!! :*

JENNIFER - I'm glad your porch is coming along. It just never ends though, does it?

Both of my parents are gone now -- it's just me and my siblings (I have 2 brothers and a sister). They live about 2 1/2 or 3 hours away but we only get together a couple times a year. If I want to see them I have to go there as they rarely come to my house. My brothers haven't been here in several years. My sister came for an overnight stay a few weeks ago and that was her first visit in years. I don't feel compelled to make the trip so often since my parents are gone.

Hello to everyone else -- I hope you have a wonderful, glorious day. I need to get some breakfast and figure out how to wrap that gun. No workout for me today, but I might do a segment from my Classical Stretch DVD.

Good afternoon haters!

It is so dang hot & humid here, I can't stand it!! I went out early this morning to get a few things in the yard done and was dripping with sweat at 8AM. I am much less tan this year than normal b/c when it has either been humid, raining, or nice at times when I can't enjoy! I just don't do well with humidity, makes me VERY grouchy & nobody would want to be around me.

Anyway, Drill Max is out of the way so far & think I'll be doing Reach tonight if I can "make myself" do it instead of something more cardio/advanced. I really do like it, it's ballet inspired & good for core, butt, balance, legs, etc... but is a MUCH slower pace that what I'm used to so I can get distracted easily while doing it...

Robin- Oh no, that is awful about the new woman joining your area... is she going to be your boss? If not, I'm assuming she is the type that if she saw you posting would be running to a supervisor or something? I can't take people like that... I mean really, get a life & stop worrying about other people unless they are harming others or being disruptive! I always say people like that need more work to do b/c obviously they have too much time on their hands to be nosey.

Michelle- I am right there with you on the heat, hate it-hate it! Yes, I am such a type A personality & also a May baby with makes my sign the bull... so I am one stubborn type A person, I have tried to not be so anal but haven't been successful yet! I must have missed something, I thought you did have pizza night Friday but sounds like something changed that?

Well I think I will take a nap this afternoon then do some on-line shopping & play with the brats so hopefully Sport will allow me another good night sleep like he did last night. I'll BBL!

Hello Haters.

It's raining here in MI, it's funny since the weatherman said we had a slight chance this afternoon. Amyways, my Lillies of the Valley are loving it. My porch overhang structure can only handle so much rain since it's not finished and some of the wood isn't treated. I have a tarp over the materials we have yet to use to finish the job.
This coming Saturday, a local school district is having a field day with events as a way to get kids out of the house. My company is one of the sponsors so I will be volunteering my time in the morning. No house projects that day, But, I will have to paint the overhang sometime soon. Yes, it never ever ends.

On the man front, there is none. John is out of the picture. I was telling my friend, Mary, about the cute pilot I saw at Cleveland Hopklns in the Continental Concourse at my gate. There were a lot handsome men at that airport, come to think of it.
